I can't wait to start cutting in about six weeks. I'm finally comfortable enough to do a real cut.

Plus I'm up to 208, and any more weight I gain will more than likely just be fat. :flabbynsick:

It's hard for people to comprehend but for the most part people are into their own training like they should be. I'm going to notice any attractive chicks but outside of that I'm not really aware of anything else unless its plates clanging.

Exactly. He was coming with me for a bit but he's uncomfortable in a gym. Thinking that people watching him and there too many distractions. I just put my headphones on and focus on myself. Bout worried about who's looking. Not like there aren't people in worse shape than you. But yeah you gotta get comfortable in a public gym. Gotta have that gym confidence.

Being comfortable at the gym is underrated. You get use to the pace, people, machines, etc.
Damn these posts brought me back to the days when I first started lifting.

The gym had a breh super self-conscious to the point where I would only lift at 1 AM when the gym was completely empty.

Can't believe I was that insecure. Most people really are focused on their own shyt, but there are those clowns who like to ridicule other people on the low. Now I give zero fukks, but that's because I have a physique I'm proud of and put up respectable weight

Yeah. Big picture It's been solid so far but I need to drop some LBs to really get a similar experience to my Pre-Jym training.

How much water are you using? I've always been close to 20oz for Pre-Jym so I'm doing the same here. I'm usually pretty dehydrated after waking up and I train in the morning. It's definitely thicker than Pre-Jym.
i shouldve bought that pre-jym when it was on sale at bb :francis:

now i have to wait for another sale :sadcam:

Yeah just gotta give zero fukks and do you. I don't even know how much the next ban lifting, just how much I can lift. No point in trying to compete with the next guy and risk an injury. I respect more the guy putting in the effort than the one who doesn't try. I'd rather be comfortable throwing up 135 to 155 then be worried bout someone ridiculing cuz they throwing up 225. But glad you got over that. I think everyone gets like that tho. What helped me was that we had a weight room in high school so I started lifting back then. So I've been had gym confidence.

On a related note since I'm in here. My boy had a month left on his membership since we cancelled his add on for the gym so he said he wanted to go to the public gym tonight instead of using his community gym. I hate going in evenings, good thing I work and usually go in the early afternoon. So i say cool and we head out there. We get there and do a bit of elliptical, then row machine, then captain chair leg raises, seated ab crunch, and the bench press machine that you sit down. Nothing too intense. Kept it nice and simple just to get the blood flowing. Then walked around outside. So we heading back and he tells me that he notices i don't have a routine. I'm like, that's not true. I'm following your lead. You're the guest so I'm just letting you do whatever you want. Usually I'll stick to one or two parts. Like yesterday I did chest and shoulders. Tomorrow hopefully I'll go before work and do legs. Maybe I just can't really work out with someone else cuz I'm used to going alone and doing my own thing. So if I go with someone I just let them decide how they want to play it. Don't want to be putting them thru a leg workout and they get tired sooner then me cuz they not used to my pace or exercises. It's best to go alone. Don't gotta be babysitting nobody.

@The ADD do you think i drink both mass gainer and creatine i will gain weight quicker or look bulkier ?
Creatine will fill your muscles out with additional water but I can't say it will be noticeable when you don't have a pump from lifting. The gainer will just be a tool for you to build mass but the noticeable gains will be slow I would imagine.

I consider lifting weights a hobby. It's something I enjoy doing, and it's generally fun for me. It just so happens to have a physical benefit. But if you tell somebody that you like to lift weights for fun, they'll look at you like :what: or :rudy:, like you just told them you like to fondle puppies or some shyt.

Why is that? Nobody ever does that with any other physical activity.

"So what do you like to do for fun? :ld:"
"I like to run/swim/hike/cycle/skateboard/rock climb/do crossfit. :ehh:"
"Oh, that's pretty cool. :leon:"

"So what do you like to do for fun? :ld:"
"I like to hit the gym and lift weighs :lift:"
"Oh, you one of them nikkas? You must be overcompensating for something. Probably got a little dikk. :mjpls: Bet you don't want any cake at the office party. Not enough protein for you. :umad:"

It's one of the reasons I never talk about the gym to anyone unless I saw them at the gym.

Yeah it's the only hobby that has that effect on people :jbhmm: it triggers so much insecurity
