I can do perfect or near-perfect dips with 50% of my bodyweight for 6-8 reps and my chest is by far my most underdeveloped and imbalanced bodypart

Now...I'm not saying that dips aren't the best because for all I know they are, but his little anecdote about bench press is not relevant. The reason there are a lot of bird chesters with a decent bench is because more people do bench. Very few people do dips, so the sample size is smaller.

The truth in chest as well as the truth in every other bodypart is that genetics are significantly more important than your exercise selection. I destroy my chest all the damn time and it just flat out does not grow the same way all of my other bodyparts do. (I'm talking proportionally. I'm pretty small everywhere, but I'm shapely and balanced elsewhere).
I don't disagree. My gut is that his sample size isn't the average lifter either.

Back squats are stalling (although I think I didn't warm up properly), so I'm going to switch to heavy front squats and start with Romanian deads.

Legs went ok, realized I could've did more volume now that I'm home :francis:; I need to find more exercises for gluts/hamstrings to him them hard.

Looks like I'm going to have crazy with the volume for shoulders/back tomorrow.

Wide pullups are no better for developing lats. Common myth. All it does is shorten the ROM.

Them sternum pullups tho :whew:

As far as leg placement what do you think is the best for pull-ups? In front straight or cross behind?

In front is hard as fukk and should only be done if you're very good at pull-ups. Otherwise I say straight because crossing your legs behind kind of takes your core out of it.

Pokemon Go really the best fitness app on the market :wtf:

Seen some pale, chubby kids outside who probably wouldn't be if it weren't for Pokémon Go. Unfortunately they were mainly staring at their phones instead of enjoying nature. It's not perfect but at least it's getting people outside and moving. If you happen to look around, you will notice a lot of cool things in your neighborhood.

I still don't get the premise of it....

I been spending a good amount on in between snacks, bunch of cans of Blue diamond almonds and country archer beef jerKY
Why does beef jerky cost so much for what you get?:dwillhuh:

From a dude on Yahoo answers:

making jerky is easy and not expensive, most people can do it at home with a simple food dehydrator. The reason it is expensive is becuz the finished product is only a 10th of the size it started from. The moisture is removed from the meat, which makes it smaller. 16oz of jerky started out as a few lbs of meat. Conisdering a 2 lb steak can be $5-$10 raw, it seems reasonable that the same steak would cost the same after it was reduced to just a few onces. Ground beef is the left over peices from when the steaks are trimmed. They mix the trimming with the fat , grind it all up , and you have ground beef. That's why they have an 80-20 ratio on the pack, 80 % beef with 20% fat. And yes jerky comes from the same cow.

Seems legit :ehh:
