Brehs you can avoid a ton if injuries if you warm up thoroughly. Get in 10-15min on an elliptical and do a bunch of mobility and dynamic stretches.

I had some nagging pains and shyt and when I started that warmup routine, the pains are gone and I feel like I can push harder when lifting.

I'm weighin 225lbs in the morning now (pre-hydration) down from 231 (pre-hydration). I look considerably leaner, even in my chest which is a trouble area. Abs makin some noise :whoo: Can't imagine how I'll look at 210lbs even if it's not in time for all the pool parties. I'm trying to stay strong as hell (get even stronger) in the process.

Was I wrong here brehs?

Went to a suburb lifetime (primarily Middle Aged white club) because it was close to where I was.


Set up to bench in the cage because I had to attempt a weight I've never gone at

There's a late 40 something dude in the squat rack next to me doing curls


I unrack the weight and go to press


Dude comes over to the cage right as I lift off and grabs a 10lb plate off my rack. (He has plenty on his)

I complete my lift and take off my headphones. I was hot. .. almost whiffed the liftoff because he came outta nowhere

Seemed like shytty etiquette more than disrespect based on how he reacted when I got his attention so I tried to be as nice as I was able

I confronted him and asked if he'd be cool if I crossed over and grabbed a plate or two off his rack while he was mid set.


He had the :damn: :whoa: back pedal shyt going apologizing profusely because he might have thought I was gonna smash him. He left almost immediately after apologizing for the 1000th time


After I calmed down I felt like I went kinda too hard at him for his bad etiquette, I completed the lift even with the distraction.
