yo what made you get the surgery?
Were you in pain?

My jaw clicks...but my dentist said most people can live fine like that...
...im still nervous :sadbron:

How frequently did it click? Mine used to a lot and very loudly and yeah I would get occasional jaw pain. Dentist said I use the left side of my jaw way more than my right and if I keep it up it'll be all worn out when I get older. I'm not too nervous atm but I'm sure I'll be a bit more on edge 24 hrs before.

Good luck on the surgery.

Thanks ma ninja

Sorry just finished training a CLIENT. Good looking out though, I will check and update.

I will be doing a post regarding Squatting Depth tonight by 10pm est, look out for it.

Your joint's like 20 minutes away from my workplace. How long have you been there?

Anyone dealt with shoulder issues?
Been out of the gym now for 4-5 weeks because of rotator cuff issue.
Luckily I have kept my shape but lost a bit of muscle but the weeks I've missed is what it takes to get the muscle back.
If you have a torn rotator cuff, or have symptoms. See an orthopedic surgeon about it. Ligament tears don't heal.
I had a torn labrum. It just got worse slowly over time. I thought it was "bursitis", based on symptoms and got a cortisone shot once in awhile when the pain intensified. Turns out it wasn't bursitis at all.
Fix it now or at least find out what it is, maybe physical therapy can fix it. Otherwise, you could be slowly ruining your shoulder over time.

Currently having physio on it, and it is getting better with time and physio. I will give it another couple of weeks now and see how I fair. I think I have been surprised that it is still problematic that's all, initially I thought a week or 2 break would sort it.

Do you recall how you initially injured it? Baseball, work injury, car accident, other?

It's been just about 2 years now come the end of January. 20mins in which direction btw? You in Woodbridge, Brampton, or Etobicoke? You should come by and we can chop it up and do a workout, I don't know what level of fitness you're at but if you're interested I can also give you a free session.

In the gym, I was doing a full body workout and I didn't warm up before shoulder pressing and it twinged then...initially putting arm above head hurt but that isnt the case now, i get a slight pain in some positions but I feel that it is strengthening..I will have to start very low on shoulder presses and even incline chest before moving some serious weight again.

Oh, that's not good.
When I injured myself playing tennis (or actually, while playing tennis, I got mad at myself and threw the racket), I heard a pop from throwing the racket and I couldn't raise my arm above my head. All other positions were okay, so I just kept on playing tennis with my friend but I served the ball by swinging the racket sideways.

I'm in the Finch/400 area. Yeah I could swing by post surgery one day as long as you guys have a rack/bench. Not really interested in personal training but meeting a coli member irl would be a new experience for me. I mainly do powerlifting.
