Thought Duke had the talent to cruise to the Final Four ... they look suspect as fukk tho.

I said it'd be up to Giles to get them there, if he plays up to his potential then they're a final four team still. Bolden is essentially useless, and the more Duke loses the less interested he'll probably be.

We're getting what we expected with Tatum.

It will take a lot more than a potential Giles...no true pg, no on ball defenders, help D is nonexistence......

I've never believed in that storyline that Duke would cruise to the Final Four, but I know better. Tatum's issue is something I was telling folks since his Jr. Kid was always consensus top 3 and just the best amongst the best, but Junior year he became a gigantic chuck. He used to be very versatile early in his game. Giles and Tatum became bff's since their first Team USA tryout, and was always a package deal. Doesn't surprise me, Giles the only kid he passes the ball too lol.

Funkee or another Duke fan, how is Frank Jackson looking like? That kid is the truth, absolutely loved his game, but did have a gigantic shot selection. I don't think Duke was the right system for him at all, but Duke and UK are it now.

Giles didn't play basketball since his Junior season. He got hurt his first game as a senior. He's suffered 3 knee injuries, so you're not going to see the "true" Giles, #1 player in the nation Giles for a while. Sadly, he might end up leaving with Tatum regardless.

Isaac > Giles

Giles have more talent, but I would pick Isaac no question. Isaac never had a major knee injury, and Giles is still rusty. You could see mentally, he's not there yet and he is a North Carolina kid playing for Duke. He had pressure on him to deliver, when he used to visit them in HS. IMO, he shouldn't be playing at all this season. Healthy Giles would be the #1 pick in the draft. He reminds me of Chris Webber.

They'll be fine as long as Amile is in the lineup. Duke will have the fire power to cover up most of their weaknesses.

If they run into teams with lots of depth like FSU that's where they'll get knocked off.

I ain't a basketball guru, but Issac hasn't shown me shyt yet. I know that the draft is about potential, but it seem like he would have to do it on the court 1st. I'm thinking he needs to come back unless unleash the dawg before the season is over.

No doubt, Giles look soft as fukk to me and indecisive with ball

I think it's just him adjusting to the college game still, he can't really dominate just off athleticism. He's average in the post, and even then he's still streaky there and under the rim.

The indecisiveness is still him playing too fast, makes too many bad passes. The only area that he could be elite in is playing above the rim, which could be limited from his injuries, or he might just not become confident enough.

Isaac is good at a lot of different things, but isn't elite at anything in particular. He's going top 10 off potential alone.
