if duke is healthy, kansas is nowhere in this game, stop fooling yourself. grayson shot like ass/was injured/played the whole game, and duke still almost won

It all depends on Giles. If it is just Tatum and Bolden then Kansas has the talent to match that.

It will be interesting to see Carlton Bragg's development as the season goes on

:myman: told ya'll this a real talented Kansas squad, think they can compete with a Duke team that has a healthy Bolden/Giles/Tatum too

NOPE...

it took a last second shot to beat a Duke team that's missing Giles, Tatum and Bolden and had Allen playing hurt after tweaking his knee before halftime...that's just pathetic, straight up. relish in beating a team missing 3 players that will be in the NBA next year. even the NCAA committee was watching this game and would tell you that it was damn near pointless in the terms of seeding Duke but good for bill self for not choking again.

I hope we play y'all again in the tournament cause we'll destroy Kansas period. only team that has a chance against Duke is Kentucky if they can play a complete game which Cal's teams rarely ever do.

just wait, enjoy this Duke team playing undermanned and depleted while you can can cause once we get healthy, it's over. another chip for Coach K and Duke haters blood pressure spiking once again.

even with just tatum and bolden, kansas wouldn;t be able to compete. having to start chase fukking jeter, having our guards play basically the whole game, and ya'll barely won. Bolden would erase chase's shytty contribution, and tatum would provide a scoring punch to free up allen more. No way KU could compete with those 2 added much less all 3 injured frosh.

seriously...i don't think these cats really follow college b-ball like that cause when this Duke team is healthy, they are a once in a lifetime collection of talent. alotta metrics have them rated as one of the best teams ever assembled, cats need to do the knowledge.

Bolden isn't going to help keep Udoka off the boards, and he's not consistence enough on defense to be a big factor there either, and he can only guard the 5.

Then with Tatum we'll see if he's adjusted and starts getting teammates involved. He's not consistent enough on D either to stop Josh Jackson if he gets going.

But we'll see, it could be different when the time comes, and maybe Giles dominates but Kansas certainly could hang with a healthy Duke team.

I still need to watch some more footage of him. But from what I've seen I'd rank them like this

Azubuike
Allen
Bolden
Bradley

You need to watch more footage of Bradley and yet a guy who hasn't played a second is ranked above him on your list??? Ok

Obviously my rankings are based off of watching a lot of non-college games and assessing how that will translate to the next level and beyond.

bolden would absolutely keep azubuike from having the game he did, espcially on the boards. amile was on an island against someone with much bigger size. we had no paint protection. bolden is long as fukk and would've protected the paint better. not to mention that he would've finished alot of the offensive plays that chase was soft on. having a real sizeable wing like tatum also would make a huge difference, moreso on the offensive end. this kansas team could not hang with a healthy duke team. duke's rotations were all fukked up when those 3 went down. In the ideal world, you have allen/jones/tatum/jefferson/bolden with jackson/kennard/giles coming off the bench, and a likely finiishing lineup of allen/kennard/tatum/jefferson/giles. No way can kansas compete with that.

the duke team we're seeing these first 3 games is basically the same as last year minus a talented wing like ingram. imagine the other 3 frosh playing. This wouldn't have been a game.

At what point does it hurt Grayson when it looks like he can't defend and labors to score against NBA athletes?

All this drip on me
Watching the KU-Duke game just affirmed my opinion that Duke is by far the best team in the country.

A fully healthy Duke would've won by 10+ against KU. Think about it: you take KU's best 3 players(Frank Mason, Josh Jackson and Devontae Graham) off their squad and make them play a healthy, complete Duke team, the results wouldn't just be a 2 point win due to a buzzer beater. It would be a brutal beatdown.

Kentucky, Duke, Nova and UNC are easily the best teams this year. Syracuse is underrated and will make noise this year as well. Teams like KU and Louisville are Final Four caliber as well.

Have you actually seen Bolden play? He would've absolutely kept Udoka off the boards and been a massive factor defensively.

Bruh wtf, Bolden is 6'11 250 with a 7'6 wingspan and has an otherworldly standing reach(9'5), which is the same as some of the freakiest physical specimens on the planet: Karl-Anthony Towns and Hassan Whiteside.

In all of Duke's exhibitions and public practices he led the team in blocks in pretty much controlled the paint and changed the game defensively anytime he was on the court. There's a reason why he was ranked higher the Udoka and every other center coming in this year and is projected to be a lottery pick.

Oh and here's 7'0 Udoka attempting to back Bolden down and score on him in the post in the Nike Hoop Summitt...peep what happened...:mjlol::sas2:
