allen his been setting teammates up plenty even since last season. the problem is no one else wants to pass save for kennard and sometimes jones. allen may have to go into fukk it mode and start gunning. the team basicall gives up and stops moving once jayson gets the ball.

I'm not one that gets into all that team chemistry stuff. But that Duke team I saw today looks like a team that doesn't like each other breh.

I remember when @Basaglia was telling me there was zero chance Bolden would stay in school

@DredScott what happened to that once in a lifetime collection of talent you were telling me about?
no chemistry is what happened. all the injuries set this team back at least 1 month, if this team is still struggling come late Feb. then come talk shyt. I ain't worried yet.

he's been hurt here and there, but i would like him to get some spot minutes for his activity, effort, and athleticism. At least he will put in 100% effort compared to harry and especially marques. duke lost that game against FSU by allowing them to get layup after dunk after layup with really poor interior D/rotations. someone like him with some springiness/active legs could've been useful

Javin plays hard I like his game.

It's a weird dynamic man. You can see the tug of war between the vets and the new guys. I don't think some of the vets care for Jayson's style of play much.

The biggest issue is Dook staff trying to run a Team USA 2.0 type program. They are doing a horrible job of development up there and it's really evident in their big man play. Whatever these kids show up with, is what they're leaving with. Everybody out there got the green light, nobody wanna do grunt work, and he failed to recruit for needs (true pg) instead of wants. There's no reason Javin supposed to have that scholarship when you have a gaping hole at pg. This the 2nd year he got caught with his pants down had Thorton not reclassified. I just saw Luke Maye, a preferred walkon, give UNC something (15 rebs) against that FSU front line while Jeter, Giles, and Bolden looked like they didn't belong. Beating people with individual perimeter play only goes so far in college cause everybody can't shoot. Rebounding and defense gets you further and that's Dook's weakness.

If you haven't seen a flash outta Bolden by now, you're not gonna get it. Javin done leap frogged him on the depth chart apparently. Not a good sign.

Javin should've been playing over him. He runs the floor and he seems to play hard. UNC might wipe the floor with them when they play them though.
