The fact he did this on a sampler with limited time makes it amazing.

Tofay you coulf slow this down and possibly find these chops but he woulda had to either listen to it slowed all ghe way and pick stuff out or know ahead of time those sounds would work.

His sample work on wisdom body is also legendary. He layers in 2 samples with each other you van only tell its 2 when you listen to demo cause it starts with them playing seperatley. It was masterful conbining of random sounds together and hiding samples.

Cuban linx to this day is still one of the most copied albums ever both beat wise and rap wise.

They did this shyt been known

No, they didn't. The site didn't have the sample when the thread was made. I know, because I checked which is why I posted the "Heartbreaker" song. It wasn't confirmed.

The Youtube breakdown was just posted a month ago, and the guy that gave WhoSampled the sample, is the same guy that uploaded that YouTube video. They just verified it.

If you have proof somebody posted it years ago give us receipts.

Fred.

Not to take anything away from RZA, but I'm pretty sure he just used an ASR-10. You can play the chops at different pitches/speeds across the keys and put together something that way. It's the same way Havoc used it for Shook Ones or Hell On Earth.

Quite possibly my favorite Wu song ever. I go to a karaoke spot where I'm cool with the dj, who is a big hip hop head. Every now and then I do it - no lyric monitor, there is no karoke version of it. But I have the lyrics cemented in my head lol. Stand on the block Reebok......

Na i know, im just sayung youd most likely have to Recognize it first and then throw it in. Im not sure the asr automatically chops like say fl slicer but it may im not too technically up on asr. I know a lotnof those machines you have to cut ya samples first and then drag em in or inpit the time to cut by hand to get it to be a small cut of that nature.

Again i could be wrong on how an asr works
