Even in Europe. You may have issues here and there, but for the most part there isn't a rift between blacks and mixed people. A lot of blacks have mixed relatives and vice versa. And even mixed people will call themselves mixed and its not a big deal or has a negative connotation.

Nothing compared to the DR or Brazil, that's some other shyt right there. Context is different of course.

What's the difference between mixed people in those places and mixed people in Europe?

Do we definitively know whether he's a CAC or not?

He's a goddamn cac b c'mon now...

What's the difference between mixed people in those places and mixed people in Europe?

Historical context mostly, and as a result, the perspective on race is different.

In those countries, racial mixing was encouraged and it formed a buffer between blacks and whites. Blacks end up at the bottom and blackness was seen as a negative for sometime (and you can argue that it still is to some degrees).

Meanwhile, a lot of mixed people in Europe have black relatives that are recent immigrants from Africa (and/or the carribean if you are from the UK) so that connection is there and thus the viewpoint on race is a bit different.

Mixed people in Europe are classified as mixed, but whether it be through family or actual experience if they are born and/or raise in their family's homeland, they tend to have a relatively solid connection to their African ancestry. Many mixed people end up representing their family's home country in sporting events for example.

This isn't to say that there isn't any tension between blacks and mixed people in Europe but it's nowhere close to certain parts of the world. Being labeled as mixed isn't a big deal and since they have a lot of black family members, they usually get along very well with black people there. The dynamic and context is different.

Hoping I explained that properly.

Why the fukk do these cacs have to be so extra with it? :aidisgust:

He can't be some dude working in the bank pretending he is black, but he has to go to a black college, usually on scholarship, and has to be extra militant etc.

Can someone tell me what he does for a living? I heard he is a pastor is that true?

Shaun King said he was beaten by a group in a hate crime in 1995, but supposedly he threatened a girl and her boyfriend beat Shaun up and his injuries were minor. Shaun King Threatened To Sue Former Classmate For Slander After Posting Article

Shaun King was pastor of Courageous Church 2008-2011. He and wife left (bitterly) because the parishioners were not socially active. Also, donations were low and the church needed outside funding. Shaun and Rai King Left Courageous? Shaun King: 3 Hard-Earned Lessons and Why I Resigned

He has been involved in several social organizations since 2011 and there have been multiple complaints saying that the intended groups/individuals did not receive some or any of the money due to them. He has an auto-block on his twitter account that is blocking numerous black people who don't have anything against him. Apparently they are following someone that Shaun doesn't want to deal with.

:heh: First you denied using ad hominems and even accused me of not knowing what an ad hominem is, now you admit it. Your whole argument constitutes trolling, projecting straw men on people who don't agree with you. For example, you accuse me of ignoring your question when it's you who's ignoring my answer. You edit answers out my posts then pretend as if they aren't there. Why did you edit this part out of my last post?

.
you made the statement as if my entire response was an ad hominem, instead of one particular comment that you continuously deflect from :yeshrug:

you still tap dancing over your previous post, about blacks rejecting their blackness if they had the option.

but hey, there will be no kumbaya, all inclusive, lets all hold hands with the half-cacs. if you want true unity, you wouldn't cosign principles that naturally create diversity. as much as you dudes want us to be all mixed up and confused like brazilians, i will never cosign that bullshyt.

He's a "fundraising pastor" or he was...Dude was accusing black pastors in the Atlanta area of molestation...Those accusations went nowhere and somehow he transitioned into working with #BLM after Hopemob (his initial activism/crowdfunding synergy) failed and was riddled with complaints (There's a ripoffreport)...He also misappropriated the Haiti funding, from what I read.

and its the main reason black folks in other predominantly white societies are worse off than American blacks. the one drop rule though it originated based on racial hatred, was actually a blessing in disguise for black folks in America. while blacks in Brazil have been divided based on differences in skin tone, blacks in america have more or less viewed themselves as one people even with differing levels of white admixture. this has allowed for greater unity, greater political clout, and equal rights in law faster than our cousins in latin america who didn't subscribe to the one drop rule.

just think. how the hell does america have a "black president" with only 13% black population than brazil which has a "black population" of over 50%? because "blacks" in brazil don't view themselves as the same or having the same interests. the white minority has used divide and conquer tactics to keep the majority down while they have all the power and control.

now i'm not saying black folks in america have power and control. but we sure are better off than any other black groups in the Americas. especially those in Brazil who outnumber whites in that country yet have almost no political power.

just because you call obama a black president doesn't the change the fact he's biracial :heh:

its sad y'all need a distorted racial classification to keep you nikkas from breeding yourselves out.
