I am sad in a sense as the Story has ended.

I am not sad though in a sense, because of the tremendous Library of work this man has offered us... his presence in voice (obviously as Vader) but also in presence. 93 years old, thats enough for one lifetime what this man offered and delivered. The name James Earl Jones will never die, for he has etched his name in the stone of our culture... of cinema... of animation... he is, and forever will be.,.. Immortal.

Thank you Mr. James Earl Jones, and rest well King of Kings. :salute:
Yup. A successful black man living to his 90s is a feat in itself. :salute:

RIP to the Legend. One of my favorite scenes.

I was watching that movie the night before reports of his passing. I'll always remember him first and never forget him for helping me pronounce words on Sesame Street when I was in single digits. I was too young to know about his movies. First movie I saw him in was Conan.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
JEJ was also a fellow diabetic as well. I remember reading his story in a magazine while waiting in the room during my endocrinologist appointment. He was trying to lose weight for a role and fell asleep on a bench. A doctor, who was there, encouraged him to go get checked out and he found out he was a diabetic. That may be the only thing he and I have in common other than this:

Crazy to think how many movies I seen or heard him in while growing up.
The Great White Hope might be my favorite. It's one of those movies that I can watch over and over again
