While I am neutral with Cornette as well, because he is not best person in the world by far, I have to imagine that other than Owen Hart's death, this one probably has to be even worse for him. One can say that Cornette himself was defined in a way by the Midnight Express as the '3rd Man'.

I am sure Cornette would have made a name for himself, but being paired with those two, and the legacy that was formed out of it. This one is basically like losing a brother figure, and with Bobby, it's like losing the more humble one.

damn, rip, his prime was well before my time, but listening to cornette and watching the old clips has definitely impressed upon me just how good he was, how underrated he was and how much of a genuinely nice and simple dude he seems to have been.

rip for real, and cornettes next podcast is gonna be an intense one :to:

One of the few decent human beings in professional wrestling. RIP.

This is an incredibly underrated statement...in all of the debauchery in that era you never hear anything bad about him. He's probably my favorite wrestler on WCW Saturday Night. This one legitimately hit home, we're losing way too many legends bruh. Rest well Bobby Eaton.

I was a huge NWA/WCW fan as a kid. Midnight Express vs RnR Express got me into tag team wrestling. Cornette running around like a jackass, Big Bubba Rogers as the muscle and Bobby & Dennis putting on a wrestling clinic.

RIP :mjcry:
