Cause I think if you're in this age bracket/or want this demo of females, this is the look

These days, I just avoid chicks that dress flashy, logo heavy, etc.
If I can tell what designer purse the chick is with, even if it's lowgrade like Dooney and Bourke, Coach, or Michael Kors - we don't have share the same values. If it's Louis or Gucci - fake or real, it's not energy I want to deal with. If you think Luxury Taste from a broke wallet is bad, it's far worse when the chick has money for that stuff, at least in my experience.

Running Errands

• Dark Blue Jeans (I might get a pair of selvedge for weekend errands, and I need to get out of my Boot Camp Clik/Wu Tang ideas of "fit" and wear something more fitted...I digress).
• Brown leather shoes - driving moccasins for the summer, chelsea boots for the f/w. I been thinking about leather sneakers, but we'll see.
• Brown leather belt/Brown leather wallet/Brown leather watch band.
• High quality no logo polo.

Weekend Day Time Stuff, where I might run into some stunners

• Jeans, Brown Leather Shoes/Wallet/Belt
• Hot weather - White dress shirt, open with a t-shirt underneath.
• Cold weather - Cashmere/Merino sweaters

Going out on a Warm Night

• Same basic Blue & Brown, might swap the Jeans
• Dress shirts that I used to work in are now shirts I go out in

On a cold Night

• Swap out the jeans for some wool slacks
• Dress shirts that used to be for work only, now are good enough for the club.
• Leather Jacket + Gloves + and usually a skully for when it really gets cold

If I really wanted attention, I'd dress like this

Not the sandals though.

This is more my personal style.

Not the loafers though.

In any event, none of these things are about labels.

For me, It's about a look. It's the combination of colors, the silhouette, and the fit. Most of this stuff can be found on Ali Express for pennies on the dollar. It's the same companies sewing for Brooks Brothers, just not as good of a return policy, lol.

COVID/WFH really got me rethinking the style game though. All that money spent over the years for shirts, ties, shoes, and suits I'll probably never wear regularly, and in some cases ever.

Everyone has different takes on this though. This is mine.

All these cats + more are gonna be out and about, and getting attention from women.

It would be easy to say Banana Republic, J. Crew, ASOS, or something, but when you get to my age - you don't care about the labels, you care about the look.

Spending more money, may or may not, make those things look better.

But everyone makes White Polos and White button ups. Everyone makes grey slacks. The hardest thing to grab would be the Coat, and you can find them at any department store, outlet store, or for cheap on Ali Express, Ali Baba, etc.

Indeed, you want to develop your eye for these things, rather than look for exact dupes of what you see people wearing.

The other thing, I find that 999 dudes out of 1,000 don't have a unified look. The 1 out of 1,000 that does is either in a suit, or literally in uniform.

I'm not even gonna speak on how women dress, but the more attention you pay to your own look, the more attention you will pay to theirs.

breh who do you know that doesn't look at their phone for two days? Even my dad whose 70 years old looks at his phone daily. Breh I was in kenya and saw people of the massai tribe in the middle of nowhere have smartphones and checking that ish.

Many women do this ish because they just want you to pick up that they are not that interested to not look like the bad person.

Chick saw your message on thursday and she saw it on friday. I know its hard esp if you are feeling a chick we tend to look for excuses and let ish slide .

If you as a man notice a woman's replies to you are becoming less frequent and more dry.

Just leave it as she's telling you what she's thinking without actually saying it. Which is she's not that interested.

These days I'll ask a chick straight up and push them a tad. Then you'll get the "it's me, not you" excuse.

Where a chick will tell you they have loads of stuff going on in their life and don't have time for you etc, but you're a great guy etc and she's really sure you'll find the right person aka not me.

Meanwhile, give it two or three weeks and you still see them active on the apps.



I notice that beaviour now and I'm good on messaging them and you'll notice when you dont message them, they wont message you so they cant have been that intrested.

I'll say this to any breh whos's unsure. Any woman who truly wants to be around you will make a play for you.

on fashion: way less on flashier designer than I was 10 years ago, more understated stuff, but still expensive jeans, expensive mostly plain black/white T Shirts, get a few cheaper T Shirts to wear around, wear harder, for cheaper CK, Cuts, Bylt, Buck Mason.

hard to go wrong with good jeans/good t shirt, expensive shoes.

for me, the thing is versatility. Be able to throw on a white dress shirt, and then a Tom Ford t shirt the next day. dressing shows the world who you are everytime you leave the house. and more importantly, how you see YOURSELF, so, I never wear anything less.
