I used to work with this chick last year, we can call her J. The chick was fine as fukk. About 9.5, had hella dudes jockin her at work, brining her coffee and flowers and shyt. It was kinda obvious from the jump she loved the attention(flag) but me and her came pretty cool since we was on the same team and we worked graveyard. I never made a move on her though cause me and my girl was goin through it at the time and I wasnt trynna shyt where I eat being that we worked together 40 hours a week and sat right across from eachother.
Anyway I left the job August of last year and had only spoke to her a few times since then. Found out through her homegirl that she had a kid with this dude and that they were engaged. Yesterday her homegirl text me just catching up asking how I was, do I keep in touch with anyone from the old team blah blah blah. I told her "not really J is taken so that's out". I also asked was J still engaged and her girl said yeah. Her homegirl asked was I feelin J back then and I said yeah I was. Her friend goes oh are you over it now and I said "if she was single id try n talk to her but it is what it is now".
The next day around 1 I get a text from J saying "hey" we ended up talking about BS,school, her kid that kinda shyt. So it's obvious her homegirl hit up J and told her what I said because me and J ain't talked since Dec of 2012. Am I readin too much into this shyt brehs? Is she just textin me cause her friend mentioned my name? Is she trynna flex and be on some you missed out shyt? Or is she trynna creep on her dude

I was at a bbq yesterday and exchanged numbers with my cousins best friend since they were in elementary school , she is 30 no kids,introverted,down to earth and has dreads

nah bring that down to 10 to 15 minutes. 30 minute convos are for chicks u've already fuccked. a lot can go against u in those 30 minutes. u can talk urself out of some puccy.
so just make plans and crack some jokes
don't overthink it. you know what you want from her. dont compromise what you want. she'll either be down with the program or not. passed that, just go with the flow, be aware of how you feel and don't overplan/overthink things. maybe the convo will last 5-10 minutes, maybe it'll last an hour. but keep in mind what you want without sweating her.so just make plans and crack some jokes

I really would have just called her difficult and then after she tried to switch it up on to me, called her a bytch. that lying and game playing she was doing while you were on the up and up with her, WAS wack. see this is why I dont like having female friends or aquaintences real heavy. theyre quick to pull this kind of mess then try to flip it on you and call you wrong, or jealous. when really, if a homeboy did some shyt like that to you, youd call him out on it and have no problems. I dont use kid gloves with these women, I like to serve it to them raw.
call it how you see it and dont worry about their games. I personally dont let that kind of behavior slide. I look at people who waste my time and play games on me as people I want nothing to do with. Id seriously stop spending any time talking to her, and thinking about her. shes not into like you are into her, and its going to keep showing the more and more you try to reach out to her. she doesnt have her mind right and wont be real with you, so dont spend time on that. the stand up thing for her to do will be to say sorry and explain her actions. but dont hold your breath for that.
