I'm confused about this...

Why are women so concerned with what you have and what you don't have? I was thinking about it the other day ago, but if I'm talking to you it isn't because of what you have, but because of what you are. As men I think we're looking for more of a companion while women on the other hand are looking for status. Like Reincar for example, he met a woman on the bus and knowing that she didn't have a car he still placed that fact aside and said something along the lines of "as long as she can get to our date, then I don't care" now a woman on the other hand would have labeled us men as "scrubs". Now how does that work? What I'm confused about is why are you so interested in what I am, rather than who I am, when you won't be getting any of it. If we're married yes we can share, but when first getting to know someone material items should be the last thing that you should care about, it should be getting to know the person, then progression.

I'm confuzzled.

It's not (necessarily) some golddigger shyt, it's nature. Women want a provider that they feel have the resources to protect them and the kids. As men, we're hunters, so we don't seek the same thing in a woman. We look for traits that show she can take care of the crib and raise the kids; child bearing hips, ability to cook, not be in the streets, etc.

A woman has to know where she stands with you. She must know without a doubt in her mind what you will and will NOT tolerate. Make a long story short I was having a ton of problems with my girl due to me not taking the lead in my relationship. I recognized this and decided I needed to work on myself so I called it quits. We ended up getting back together and we had a date set up, which she flaked on at first, but said she's not far and it won't take her long to link up with me.

Now in the past I would've been mad for awhile but still would have agreed to see her, but I totally flipped the script on her. Told her that there was no point even hooking up because I told her to meet me at a set time and she didn't show up. To which she responded "Sorry for F'in up your plans"

I responded back like excuse me and she corrected herself. I said that's the last time you are ever gonna curse at me first of all, and keep your lil back handed apology. She tried her hardest to get me to meet up with her but I stood my ground and was like nah baby, that's now how it's gonna go down. You don't show up when we agree, you don't get rewarded for that. Didn't talk to her for the rest of the day and she was super pissy about it.

Next day we got into a he argument and I basically put my foot all the way down and said, look in the past I tolerated that mess, but I'm not going to put up with it any longer. You either get right or get LEFT. She said she was gonna bounce and told me to have a nice life. I said you do the same. She was HEEEEATED and went off on me. In the past I would've argued back with her, but now I just hit her with a simple "Ok"

You MUST let these chicks know that you won't put up with their bad behavior NOT EVEN FOR AN INSTANCE. They gotta know that you're ready to walk away at any moment if they don't stay within the boundaries YOU set up. I was letting her take the lead in our relationship, and like my man kevm3 alway says if you follow a woman, she'll only bring you towards calamity.

Yes breh.....this is EXACTLY the type of mentality you must take.
