Fumbled some habesha honey i was talking to. Had a second date on Saturday. Messaged her on Monday. No response and she's usually responsive. Think i was too touchy at some point but it could be something else. Fighting all my simp instincts to reach out again. Just need to fall back

hahah that happens to me too. It was an invite too. but she still wants to go out---- Like any digital communication, sometimes it's just the person, not knowing how to effectively communicate, and being a little burned out, a little fried from digital interactions. Do you ever notice with intense corporate people, they can't drop that language, or style of texting? Like we are in a Slack chat or something.
Sometimes "loving" the message, is a "polite" way of responding and kind of ending the conversation without ghosting, which can be good, or not as good, think of it like shaking hands before leaving, or a hug, or kind of more dismissive.
all in all, it's a hyper neurotic way to communicate, esp. with people who don't know each other. Have you noticed the way people use a response feature to reply to specific texts? Like the context is so confusing. Or that they edit simple typo's that can be easily understood. Some of this is just a medium that wants to keep people engaged, rather than really efficient communication.
I have some dumb group chat at the moment to plan an event for someone, and it's like it takes a day for these people to respond. It would be easier to just call and give a time and place. No back and forth.
