You have to come out of your shell either way. Do so by talking about yourself. One of my mantra's has always been; Be Agendaless, Be cool, be gone. You aren't there to jump through any bird's hoops. Present yourself as a man with skills, knowledge and a cool sense of aloofness. An easier concept would be to peacock a little in other words, a talking piece that draws women to you. Be it a necklace, piece of wardrobe, jewelry, etc. Don't be too loud, accent yourself with finery, you'll get attention. The problem with shy men, is that you guys are wasting time on seeing the opposite sex as something greater than yourselves, when in reality, women while desirable to fukk, simply aren't greater than men when it comes to many facets of life. Playing the field being one of those traits.

Read, workout, etc, present something she rarely sees, more so for yourself, the birds will always flock no matter the man.
