I highly recommend a book called Declare War on Yourself by Marc Summers that touches on this. I mentioned it in the 6 figures 6 certs section.

This is a great book for men in particular who are half assing and not taking themselves seriously in life. It's not a pleasant read for some because he doesn't go the "be kind to yourself" route. It's VERY harsh and a punch in the gut type of book and will hit several nerves, but it's what dudes need to hear. If you're not a book person I would recommend listening to the audio.

Props, had some credit on my audible account just bought :salute:Will take this in now

Seems like you're an older man and currently want a girlfriend.....and that's fine depending on age, but don't think you're gonna get young chicks who want to stay loyal...its sidechick heaven when they're in their 18's-29...Your only problem is that you hope she's serious about you. Its irrelevant, your happiness comes first and then trickles down. Stop looking for an anchor, and work on yourself. Good women will be there, but are a byproduct of a great life well lived. Everything else is working, especially since you work with her; time + proximity is the best gambit, however, it seems like you're becoming attached to a concept, I'd say do your best to erase it from your mind...focus on thyself.
I’m 25 but can pass for 18 on some Pharrell Williams shyt. She’s 23. Plant job. Third shift. I have the easiest task there. She’s cute and has a nice body. I do want a gf but at the same time idk breh it’s like once I get something I deeply desire I get bored. Material or an experience. I’m working 6 nights a week and I’m so glad this keeps me away from tinder and turnin up. I don’t want to do this for over a year. My money was really fukked up. So I did this. Almost goin to end my second week of work. Check is good for what it is. I definitely need to make a career shift. shyt full of brehs and brehettes so I do have fun.

It's not an IT book. It's about life in general, but the same principles apply no matter what it is you do.

I haven't shed a tear in a while but the news of Moses McCormick passing got to me today even though I didn't know him personally. That shows you the kind of impact you can make on those around you even when you're not aware of it. His amazing ability and talents spoke for itself and it was obvious he was a positive force just by the reactions of people he encountered. It's just made me self reflect even more and determined to get my act together not be worried about broads or other stupid shyt that isn't important in the grand scheme of things.

Don't get me wrong, it's fun to rant sometimes and I'll still be guilty of it I'm sure lol but we're still here and breathing. Just look after your physical and mental health and keep self improving.

You really gotta get your paper up to compete out here. It's nasty out here.
"Chase the paper, the women come with it"

With all the changes and innovations to the landscape (social media, dating apps, etc), the core principle remains the same.

If you see an unequivocal dime in a big city, im talkin some Demi Rose lookin chick but all natural... the same way it takes you 30 seconds to assess if you want to fukk this chick, it'll take her that same amount to assess if she can fukk with your tax bracket. i.e. Your attire, vehicle, or whatever you're doing when she first sees you.

Same thing with IG, if you DM her she'll check out your page not just to see if you're good looking but what you got going on.

Granted just because she determines she can fukk with you (whether you're a 40k salary man or 6fig 6cert coli certified) doesn't mean she's worth the headache, regardless of if she's a dime or a strong 6.
