Fellas, we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard in all aspects in life. Key word OURSELVES, not just the women we date. I've realized that a lot of men want women to view and treat us a way we don't even view or treat ourselves. Frauding. We want to demand the best out of folks yet we go around accepting the bare minimum from ourselves half assing or procrastinating through life?

You can't expect someone to give you THEIR best self if YOU won't even give YOU your best self? How can you expect someone to respect you when it could be clear to them that you don't even respect yourself.

Seems like you're an older man and currently want a girlfriend.....and that's fine depending on age, but don't think you're gonna get young chicks who want to stay loyal...its sidechick heaven when they're in their 18's-29...Your only problem is that you hope she's serious about you. Its irrelevant, your happiness comes first and then trickles down. Stop looking for an anchor, and work on yourself. Good women will be there, but are a byproduct of a great life well lived. Everything else is working, especially since you work with her; time + proximity is the best gambit, however, it seems like you're becoming attached to a concept, I'd say do your best to erase it from your mind...focus on thyself.

I highly recommend a book called Declare War on Yourself by Marc Summers that touches on this. I mentioned it in the 6 figures 6 certs section.

This is a great book for men in particular who are half assing and not taking themselves seriously in life. It's not a pleasant read for some because he doesn't go the "be kind to yourself" route. It's VERY harsh and a punch in the gut type of book and will hit several nerves, but it's what dudes need to hear. If you're not a book person I would recommend listening to the audio.

Welp I met her after work. Shes texting me the whole day asking if we're still on. Asking how if coming dressed up which since I'm coming from work is business casual. We went bowling.

She comes out make up done, hair done, lip gloss, perfume, crop top sweater in 30 degree weather under a pea coat.

We split the bill
