You need to do what @Silkk says and work on self improvement. Not self-help mumbo jumbo and positive aspirations but actual goals and actions that move your and your mind to another place.

Some kind of step change in your life be it a new hobby, traveling (once this shyt is over), setting ambitious goals, etc. When you move to a new place in life you will leave behind a lot of that sadness. Then you can worry about a new chick. Funny thing is, once you stop obsessing over girls a better one typically comes along.

I can't explain this well but I feel like there is clout that only matters to woman, and having kids increases a woman's clout among women.
