That is exactly how I feel. Iv'e done so many favors for wifey, that she almost expects me to do them all the damn time even though she is more than equiped to do them herself. It's come to the point where I hate the word "favors". We had a fight last week about me not doing her the "favor" of picking HER son up and taking him to chic-fil-a, even though she is the one who told him that she would take him. We have been no talking to each other for about 3 days now and it's fukkin great. I get to watch the shyt I wanna watch on tv and she's not there to fuk it all up. I am not budging on this, i know she'll be the first to crack because she is so damn lazy that shyt won't get done without me. But I am not in no hurry...
exactly. them initial favors start turning into entitlements that she expects you to do, and if you start doing them long enough, she will start getting mad when you don't comply with her requests for 'favors'. One thing a man needs to understand when dealing with women is to never allow her to take your kindness for granted. You don't ever 'OWE' her any favors, so you retain the right to decline a 'favor' any time you feel... in fact, never let a woman shift you into a favor buddy who she will take advantage of at all times and never reciprocate. In fact, she'll start getting the idea that you're a buffoon. Something brothas got to understand is to not allow a woman to use her emotional states to manipulate you. A lot of cats KNOW a woman is wrong, but they give in because they don't want this woman to yell or withdraw her attention or something of that nature. To me, that's a weak mentality. IF you are willing to accept abuse and bad behavior from a woman to keep her company, you will never be respected and you will continually be taken advantage of. A woman does what you allow her to do. If you leave the door open for yourself to be taken advantage of, that's exactly what most women will do. Remember they have a mercenary mindset.
@kevm3 the drama that is in my life at this moment, this broad even had the nerve to call up my mom about how im cutting her off. And then she goes posts on her facebook talking about to "never cast someone out becasue theyre still living a life of wrong" and that church people need to stop gossiping and be the "christians" they preach to be. Its amazing for like 5 years turning the other cheek being disrespected breaking your back but when you finally say nope I have enough, folks try to use your religion to guilt trip you and draw you back in.

With most women, it's about getting the best deal necessary and they will twist things around to try to make the perception come out in their favor even if they were completely wrong. You gave babygirl numerous chances and she didn't appreciate not an iota of it and never made an attempt to pay your money back, but somehow has the money to go to the club and all of that... it's been a pattern of behavior on her part, and since you disrupted her pattern of being someone she seeks when she's down, she's clawing and scratching for it back. If you do deal with her from now on, no more loaning of money or doing little errands for her. She's not handicapped. She can do it herself.
I don't know man I'm starting to get frustrated been getting flaked on a lot lately.It seems like i do everything right just to take two steps back. When you see dudes feasting during a famine it just make you wonder about a lot of things. anyways I'm trying to stay positive.

everyone has ups and downs trust me.
I've been there, and sometimes I just sit back and remeber when i was like 19,20, 21 and had hot women, models on billboards in my cities throwing themselves at me, dating dimes or even in long lasting relationships. Now in this day and age it seems hard enough to even get a second date because women have so many options.
