Question to the ADOS, "no vote" crowd. Do you not see that this strategy will hurt ADOS?

There are literally Black men I know IRL calling people sheep and fukking idiots on Twitter for encouraging others to vote. Mind you they stomp up and down screaming they are pro Black this and that. So yes there are people claiming ADOS encouraging others not to vote. The sad part is when they have kids that are voting age or they are seen as leaders amongst an uneducated community demographic especially young Black men but yet this is the rhetoric they push.

But that has not been the overwhelming message of ADOS when it comes to voting. You can't hold the whole group to a few dissidents who have their own ideas about voting while agreeing with a black or reparations agenda.

What does ados mean to you? If you had to explain it to someone from a different country what would you say?
You just don't get it. The goal is for black people to not vote therefore the racist Republicans stay in office and set us back 50 years and undo all the things our ancestors fought for, that way things will get so bad for us that the Democrats will have to say they'll give us $200,000 a piece for slavery that the Republicans deny was bad and in a country that wouldn't even give white children free healthcare in a pandemic

Or at least that's what the agents tell me :troll:

Ok, op as someone posted earlier you are confusing what ADOS has said vs. what Tariq, Professor Black Truth, and Jason Black have stated. This is confusing because they loosely supported ADOS until Antonio Moore and Yvette Carnell had a disagreement with Tariq.

The ADOS strategy is to vote democratic down ballot because there are likely some local and state officials/initiatives that you should vote on and can make a material difference in your lives. It can also have an effect on the leverage you have with whomever is the president. What I mean by that is if you look at the senate right now it's republican controlled and they have been in lock-step with whatever Trump says or does no matter how insane. If we had more senators and representatives that aren't with the bs you can a least limit the power this lunatic has.

The second idea behind down ballot is that it shows we still came out and voted but it will send a statement to the DNC that their candidate is not what we wanted and they need to come correct if they want another democratic president.

Again this is still stupid. Even if you get lucky and gridlock Trump with a Dem controlled Senate he can still govern by EO as he has shown he would do and his administration would still be in place to continue doing damage. Keeping Trump in place should not be an option and any plan that is based on that is dumb as fukk. ADOS plan is shortsighted as fukk. I guarantee y'all are going to be further from your agenda come election time. If Trump wins you ain't getting shyt, if Biden wins then he won without you so why should you get a seat at his table when you chose not to support him in favor of a Trump re-election. Again this "plan" makes no fukking sense.

It may not be the he overwhelming message of ADOS but I’m telling you what is being fed to an uneducated demographic that I see with my own two eyes. And this is dangerous and will have a devastating effect on the community that believe these are the smart OG’s of their community. This is how we ended up like we are now. Discombobulated and divided.

I’m voting , but I appreciate us as black people having honest conversations instead of the name calling , as if all oposing sides are always agents.we can still respect eachother in our dialogue if we all have the same goal.. right or wrong

Two people are fighting you. One has a knife and one only has fists. You are a trained fighter.

What do you do?

ANSWER: you deal with the Clear and Present Danger first. Then you stop the one who represents the less pressing immediate threat.

It ain't about you though is it? It's about a large group saying what they mean and doing what they say.

It is self-defeating to vote against Trump this time out and then to forget about the bigger picture.

The entire political structure has to change.

Maybe the progressive posse has something to say? Maybe you need to get grassroots action going - especially in the churches to get people to demand change for their votes.

Trump has already rolled back years of (superficial but partially effective) progress. The courts have already been changed for a generation. Race relations are such that only the extremely self-deluded cannot feel the tug of taking sides . What do you think he is going to do if he gets 4 more years? What do you think that will do to the psyche, condition and day-to-day reality of living in the USA if racists are convinced that they are no longer the minority, that 2016 was not just a mistake and that America supports an unambiguously racist President who has their backs? And there are the knock-on effects both internationally and in international relationships. If Trump shows that overt right-wing racism wins, if the yt population sees improvement Trump might convince successors that his methods are a viable and working option. To stop that you need to cast him out and disgrace him before he establishes a working template of 1890 rules in the 21st century. If Trump shows that his methods work then why wouldn't the yt world internationally follow - with all that that means.

All that is standing between us and slavery/colonialist occupation is the attitude of the common man and those attitudes are being changed by this to make the previously unacceptable more acceptable. Trump winning makes his unacceptable behavior seem more accepted even to those that disagree with him . You do not want that to happen.

Apartheid was just a couple of decades ago so we know what they are capable of. DEMs with their superficially benign self-delusion allowing tactics are not the future either but at least those self-deluded populations will not be on your neck while you are trying to create real change. Well not initially at least.

No point in cutting of your nose to spite your face. US politics is backed by the big bucks and the insouciance + political inertia of the population. Whatever you do it is going to take time and it will take strategy. Creh numbers are declining so use that.

And finally TBA et-al have no answer for this. Getting rid of the DEMs can wait for 4 years (start in Jan 2021). Getting rid of Trump has to be done in Nov (start now).

They make a point to create federal protections And tangible policies for other groups. When it comes to Us they just rely on their loyal simp shills to pressure us to support more benign neglect.

You going hard like they put legalized prostitution on the ballot.

We don't all have the same goal. Some want the advancement of black people but too many other parasites in the mix:

- Actual agents
-Cacs
- people who want to go against established wisdom to be edgy and call others "c00ns"
- People who just want to use pro blackness as a platform to take shots at sub groups they hate (immigrants, bm, bw, frats, blue collar blacks vs white collar, interracial daters, hood ppl, suburb people etc)
-clout

Their arguments are always an appeal to negative or hateful feelings but never FORTHRIGHT positive action. Nothing good comes from a rotten core! Nobody about positive action would discourage voting. There aint no way to juelz that.

Can any one of you explain why asking for “tangibles” in the general election instead of the primary makes any sense?

This is where a lot of you sound politically retarded or like agents.

You literally wait until you have less leverage (Alternative is trash with Republicans, blacks make up less of the voting bloc in a general) and the stakes are higher to press the issue.

It’s pretty stupid. And this is coming from someone who thinks reparations should be the defining issue for black voters.

If you’re not actively involved in democratic primaries, but call for sitting out the general, you’re basically politically retarded and / or lack critical thinking skills. Sorry to say.

It's my vote. I'm writing in Bernie.
I'm not going to be bullied into voting for a candidate that I don't like or support. It's really that simple.
