Any rapper (or celebrity for that matter, in any field) that died at that level of fame would be revered on that level. Which is silly IMO but :manny: it's human nature.

:snoop:

truth is... only 00’s type of nikkaz would even bring this nonsense up

GRODT was an incredible classic body of work
with that said... it has LIL TO NONE importance to hip hop history / legacy

His music's not as timeless/versatile as Pac's.That's like saying Peabo Bryson would've overshadowed Marvin Gaye.

He didn't resonate on that soulful level or tap into human pathos like Pac.You're dealing with a different sphere of consciousness.

50 was mega at the time, but his music's always been low frequency. The substance wasn't there.Typical "Macho azzhole" music

for the most part.

Let’s be real

He was a gimmick, the music didn’t age well he was not as talented as Big and Pac, wasn’t around long enough, wasn’t involved in a coastal war involving shootings, robberies, gang wars, etc

The fact that nobody listens to 50 Cent now just kinda proves the point, he’s physically here but musicallly dead for 13+ years

LOL... the early 2000s. It's possible that would have happened because of the popularity in real time... after while fans would have noticed the album isn't all that.

Nope he was too new of an artist at times for it to have a real impact.

No.

Think about it......why didn't you make the thread about...

If Snoop died after Doggstyle?

Or

If DMX died after It's Dark and Hell is Hot?

Nobody in hip hop has reached 50s Apex. That shyt was bananas.

Movies, sneakers, clothes, video games, multi million dollar sport drink endorsements, whole team went platinum, etc.

Nobody not even Drake. The closest we have ever seen reach that level was Pac.

I wonder if a new artist can ever hit that level and beyond again in the present day landsacpe n future :jbhmm::wow:
