If you know a lot of religious people then you know it's not true...

HA, lol.. talking bout religious people don't have sex, walk about in a constant state of fear, never pop bottles, feel that life and the life of everyone we know including our children isn't important etc etc.

Damn, so if I go to a bar on Friday I won't be able to go up to a Christian white bish (i don't like white girls, but used the example because of my experience of them being easy) and fck her that night... wake up do it again on Saturday - go to work on Sat, because I'm trying to improve the quality of my life, then skip Church on Sunday because I don't feel like it and I can pray to "invisible sky daddy" at home???

So it's not true that some of the most adventurous people have been religious - and have lived life to the fullest? I guess all the important people in history that fought for civil and human rights didn't fight for those rights. According to Acri1 it was our imagination; because why would they? this life isn't important and neither are the lives of the generations that come after us.... the only thing that's important is some place that we know nothing of.

Nothing you said is even close to the truth except that some religious people go to a Mosque or Church--- it's not as painful as you would think.

You don't seem to understand the whole "some" concept. I never said that any of that applied to all religious people (or even most), I just said that they are potential negative consequences of following a religion. There wasn't even any need to post examples as if it wasn't obvious that plenty of religious people do that stuff.

If we wanted to keep it 100 however, atheist are the ones not living life. And NO it's not due to the horrible epidemic of atheist oppression. Its due to them on average being losers, more depressed, socially awkward and/or introverted, and Suffering from anxiety, and are 10% less happy with their lives. I'm just saying... maybe you can focus in that area when you want to make 6 points of generalizations.
