first season was amazing though

how could you not take colin farrell seriously? he was by far the best part of season 2

I would agree to a certain extent as season one was the bomb! Season 2 is just lame but don't take my opinion too serious as i'm only 3 episodes deep into season 2. Season 2 is quite boring so far where as season 1 just pulled you in right in the beginning.
