this hurts me becuzse i was a huge fan of the song 10 bands. I remmeber driving around Edmonton in my boys car playing it 8 9 times in a row breh. I have memories associated with that song. I gave drake my respect and admiration for the song and those lines. If i hear Know Yourself bars come out of another nikkas mouth in the exact same way with only a few words changed... How can I still be a supporter? I just dont know breh someone convince me

He wrote the 1st verse and the hook breh...Drake wrote the 2nd verse. He says most of the tape was already done before he got there and he's credited as a co-writer so my guess is he's probably telling the truth since Flex didn't put out the "other" reference tracks. Other artists have come out and said they've seen this dude write shyt. My guess....either Flex doesn't have the other tracks or more likely the other tracks he got were probably completely different then how they turned out on the tape. He would have dropped them if he had him cause he's basically a "scoop" reporter...he wouldn't be sitting on that type of shyt and not put it out.

breh so if quentin miller wrote the whole song, provided it to drake more or less finished just needing drake to re-record, and drake recorded the track and credited miller, how would that look different? would that still be collaboration?

Brehs...If QM wrote the whole song and gave it to drake and Drake took that rhyme and personalized it (change a bar here and there) and recorded it , it is a collab, but..................that shyt is WEAK IMO

If QM wrote a verse and gave it to drake and Drake took that rhyme and personalized it but then Drake wrote the rest of the song................. that shyt is weak too, but not AS weak. He clearly wasn't trying to hide the fact that he had co-writers. Why was the ref track just one verse? Did Drake do the rest?

Overall not a good look for someone that boast the way Drake does, but not a death sentence either.
