this hurts me becuzse i was a huge fan of the song 10 bands. I remmeber driving around Edmonton in my boys car playing it 8 9 times in a row breh. I have memories associated with that song. I gave drake my respect and admiration for the song and those lines. If i hear Know Yourself bars come out of another nikkas mouth in the exact same way with only a few words changed... How can I still be a supporter? I just dont know breh someone convince me

I seriously don't know what the fukk is going on in this thread. I'm a drake fan I've said it before and I'll say it again but if this nikka is legit taking reference tracks and copying lyrics I can't support that. I don't give a fukk if that was the only song. It's nice that he responded for his own sake but...this does nothing to clear up artistic integrity as it regards to Drake. As far as I'm concerned Drake still recited a verse word for word flow and cadence included...not a good look
We probably won't ever find out who wrote how much on it but the reference track doesn't mean QM wrote the whole thing or that Drake wrote none of it. We know he wrote something on it though just not to what extent
He said when he came in most of the album was done, so it seems like a lot of his contributions weren't on that level of whole songs, probably just different parts of everything, could just be saving face tho. I personally think the reference was more for flows since Drake didn't write the whole thing
