I've wanted Melo traded since going back to last year, and I would rather tank for sure, but if he stays it ain't like the team is in some doom and gloom scenario either. Just gotta make the most of what's going on and have some faith in Phil.

On the flip people here who are acting like Melo has done anything to deserve not being trade bait are stuck on his name brand. He's still nice, but you got to think about the future and the fact that Melo is 9 times out 10 going to be Paul pierce status game wise by the end of his contract
I think Melo's game will age more like D Wade than PP. There will never be a point he's not putting up 20ppg and 5 boards.
Plus Melo is not playing the bitter aging superstar role. He wants KP to shine and he's helping him develop.
The real issue is with AA opting out the Knicks backcourt is looking extra
. Jose Calderon was probably the worst starting PG in the league last year.

If Hornecek uses a few plays from the triangle it's no real harm if they are mixed in with the plays he used with the Suns. From the sound of it Hornecek is going to design plays that the roster can take advantage of.
He's shook to shoot, it's frustrating.
He's been the Raptors most reliable and consistent guard. Knicks need more low maintenance, two way players like Joseph.
