Nope. Not dumb. Dennis isn't nearly the defensive liability that Shelvin is and shoots 2 times better from 3 than Shelvin at 31.4%. Dennis ain't up and coming. He's shooting 41% from the field. He has declined from last season as a player. He's just quick and Shelvin is trash.

Afflalo needs a few post plays run for him.

KP rushed his shot several times yesterday and missed on some drives to the basket.

Defense was lacking.

Didn't see Derrick score, but I am sure he did.

KOQ was hoisting jumpers from in the paint and beyond the arc.

Not sure if Robin Lopez played. Same goes for Amundson and Seraphin. And i watched the game.

Arron doesn't need anything run because he's so great 1-on-1. He catches the ball and posts up nearly every play on his own. He likes to post. He needs to step up and fix his shot like 'Melo and Jose continue to do when they shoot like trash. I'm certain he will.

KP always misses drives. Last night, he kept trying drives, post ups, layups, bank shots, and every other tough shot when he's not there yet. He keeps trying to force bad shots (which is any shot you can't make consistently). He's a rook, so it's Derek's job to put a stop to it and force him to stick to his strength (catch-and-shoot).

'Melo was trash on defense, as were many of the rest of them. They couldn't get stops for nothing in the 2nd and 3rd quarter, especially in the 3rd.

Derrick shot 50%......again. He's a shooter.

Robin played pretty well.

Lou had back spasms.........again.

Kevin didn't play........again.

He doesn't need "great" talent. He doesn't even have good talent. NY is 26th in fg% 26th. And they are 23rd in ppg. 23rd. They're 24th in 3P%. He looks more than "competent". It's to Derek's credit that their record isn't much worse and that they're even in games against the teams they've played. Because of him, they have a chance to win every night, except they don't have a chance because they can't shoot. With what Derek has done, he'd likely run away with the East if he just had Atlanta's team. He wouldn't even need the Cavs. Half the Knicks aren't average shooters or even below average. They're complete trash on offense. At least they'll always have their league-leading 81.1% from the free throw line. I have to laugh to keep from crying.
