He had 8 assists. How many did KP have and how many rebounds? NY was killed on the glass, leading to the hole. 'Melo had 6 rebounds and also played excellent defense on Matthews (he only shot 30% from the field and 25% from 3). Meanwhile, Dirk went off on KP.

Oh what narrative will you switch to if he shoots like trash the whole season? You're full of them. Just admit you don't like him. Fact is, his defense and rebounding gave NY a chance to win tonight and KP's trash defense and trash rebounding gave NY a chance to lose, putting them in a hole that it was only right he do something to get them out of it. The guy who scored, defended and rebounded was the best player on the floor tonight. It is what it is.

I'd love it. I love great players. Not these trash shooters like Lj and these chuckers who need screens like Curry and KD. Not chuckers like Chuckbrook and Harden either.

They actually could've in those final minutes. Melo was off in those last minutes but, was a good playmaker and still kept KP hot. He scored 6 in those final minutes and would've had 9 and brought the score closer. Caldo had him wide open and decided to throw up one of the worse percentage shots ever trying to layup with 2 defenders on him

Well I feel he is a top 10 PF right now,dude can hit the 3, mid range has post game and get 10 boards a night, if he were the #1 option it'd be no debate

I agree with you about him already being a Top 10 PF though. The likes of Davis, Blake, Dirk, LMA, Green, Millsap, Bosh, Favors and Love are all clearly better but after that he's battling with dudes like Thaddeus Young, Faried, Ibaka, Zbo etc for the tenth spot and I'm taking KP over all of them.

The fact that NY got in the hole they did shows they can't win a shoot-out with Dallas. The won't be able to do that until 'Melo is 100%. Tonight he said the pop is there sometimes and sometimes it's not and that he's still working on his leg, even though it's not the rehab he was doing before. His lack of explosion showed some of the times he jumped when he shot and even when he landed. He said he's frustrated by it. Layups are always good. You're never gonna not be in a crowd at the rim.
