Okafors Whole NBA Experience Is "Garbage Time", He Plays In Philly And Can Get 50 Touches A Night If He Wanted

:rudy: Teams haven't been blowing Philly out. They've been losing by an average of 11ppg, so Okafor hasn't played a lot of garbage time mins. Philly is a good team with solid pieces that can win games if they want. They show that in every game. They came back from over 20 down last night to lose by 12 with no help from refs (like the Cavs had against the Wizards the other night when they were getting washed). Philly is just tanking like NY did for the last 2 years and like Portland is right now. All this caping really isn't necessary. You guys really can't handle it when KP's flaws are brought up, which is why I try not to bring them up, but you guys keep sending for me. It's baffling.

Considering that NY keeps padding his stats in garbage time, he'll probably end the year with bigger numbers than Towns, giving him Rook of the Year.
I can't speak for the Timberwolves games because I would be lying if I said I watched them more than once but the Knicks haven't had many games that can be considered blowouts win or loss. They only have a loss margin of a point which does reflect the types of games they have been in this early season. The margin would probably be even closer if it wasn't for the two blowout losses to the Heat. Can you say he padded his stats during the beating the team took down in Miami, sure I guess but that's only 1 out of 19 games. During the blowout the Heat gave the Knicks at MSG, he didn't perform particularly well so he wasn't even able to pad his stats even in extensive garbage time.

They Aren't Tanking By Having The Guys On The Floor Purposly Blow Games

They're Tanking Cause Of The Level Of Talent The Organization Has Choosen To Put On The Floor Every Night Is Not Good Enough To Win

You Making It Sound Like They Can Win 40-50 Games If They Really Wanted Too But They Won't Cause They Guys Are Throwing The Games

The reason Philly is tanking, because they're not a good team as constructed.

Anyways, we gotta beat Bk on Friday to get back to .500

If they weren't good, they weren't need to tank. They'd just lose naturally, instead of throwing games at the end, like NY did last season. They just wanna stack the deck for who knows how long, like @Liquid wants to do for some odd reason. Although, @Liquid probably just wants 'Melo to retire, no matter who joins NY because he hates him for no reason at all.

You just said a team that has lost 29 out of 30 games stretching to last season is a good team.

Troll better

Not sure if you're referring to NY or Philly. Either way, tanking lost them games, nothing more, nothing less.

Garbage time isn't just in blowouts. It's anytime the game is in hand and he's playing without the starters. Reporters even ask Fish about it in post-game interviews. I understand that he's getting extra reps, but the other rooks and young players aren't getting those reps and it still pads his stats. He's only had 5 big games out of 19, some of which have been when he shot the ball poorly.

I won't argue how their tanking when you concede that they're tanking. The scrubs you speak of are always in games and losing at the end by an average of 11ppg because they wanna stack the deck for who knows how long, like @Liquid wants to do for some odd reason. Although, @Liquid probably just wants 'Melo to retire, no matter who joins NY because he hates him for no reason at all.

There is no such thing as garbage time on this team. We lost countless games at the end of games because of mismanagement by Fisher. There is no way Porzingis is ever out there to pad his stats knowing how many games we've lost in the final minutes. The only game that was in hand was game 1 against the Bucks and that was a clear blowout, and Porzingis wasn't out there padding his stats.
