When people can't find anything to criticize 'Melo for, they flat out lie on him. One of the broadcasters for the Magic said 'Melo "worked hard for his points". Someone from the media said the same thing to Fisher. That is a bold-faced lie. 'Melo shot 53% from the field. Everyone on that team "worked hard" for their points, except 'Melo, Jose, and Rolo, and no one felt the need to point that out, yet they felt the need to create that narrative about 'Melo, even though it's a lie. The media hopes we are so dumb that we won't look anything up. It's insulting. They treat us like we're all 7 year-olds. I'll bet that are people who bought it hook, line, and sinker, and that is sad. The media (Posting & Toasting) said:

So, you and I knew NY should have driven to the basket (I was screaming at the screen for them to drive), but NY, who plays nearly every night, doesn't know to drive when their in the bonus, and you blame Fish? You give NY a pass for not knowing something that simple? If a team has to be told everything, maybe they're the problem. Just say you don't like Fish, instead of blaming him for NY being dumb. D-Will isn't the only slasher on that team, and for all that slashing, he's shooting 36% from the field.
