He was just balling in Memphis
U woulda sworn lance caught a body or punched a fan by the way he's been blackballed for no reason lol
There's this stigma surrounding his name like he's Ray rice and its becoming very bizarre
And it is high reward, low risk. We already have our rotation. If he don't fit, we cut
he's not blackballed, but he's one of those guys where you don't see the point in praying he pans out. The reward doesn't outweigh the risk. He'd have to have the biggest comeback tour to get it back on track and I don't know where that will be (I thought Thibs would land him)
Funny you mentioned him and Ray Rice in the same sentence. They both beat the shyt out of their baby mothers.
I don't necessarily think you understand what "high reward low risk" means. What exactly is the
high reward?
I have always liked lance's game. I knew he was an NBA player when most writers (and definitely most posters) were saying he wasn't shyt, and would be playing for the second division in la liga... But he's wildly inconsistent, his ability to distribute has fallen the fukk off, and he never really developed into the defender we hoped he'd become. I still think he's a force in the open court, I actually DO think he would be useful for the knicks... but if they are worried about him being able to stay focused in New York, well so am I.
For the most part, I tend to reject the "he's a distraction" tags on players... and I think with right coach and cast, he really could still flourish/revive his career as an impact player. But I don't think he can do that in new york. Which is a shame, because I think melo would be an AWESOME influence on him, and I think Hornacek is creative enough to really put him in great positions.
But the city and its lifestyle is a lot to handle. JR Smith admitted it got he best of him, his family and people aren't here.
