if d rose don't average close 2 double digits in assists this season wit .. melo .. x KP and jenningsbon this team ill be a lil disappointed

I don't really expect Rose to get close to double digits, but I don't think it should be an area of concern either. I suspect he'll be spending a lot of time playing off the ball with Melo and Noah facilitating the offense a good amount of the time too, with Noah usually doing it from the high post. I'm hoping Rose, Melo, Noah, and Jennings can each average 4-6 assists a game instead.

I'd love to see the assists jump but I think what I'm most hopeful about is team efficiency. So I wouldn't mind his assists staying similar to where they've been as long as we see Melo, KP and Rose increase their FG% thanks to better spacing, less instances of having to force a tough shot because they don't have any help and less double teams faced by any of 'em.

As an Aside. I was at Pace today and Allan Houston was a keynote speaker. He was talking about his foundation and the work he did in Louisville with Big Brothers Big Sisters. His words were genuine and he's got a lot of Integrity.

There was a Q&A section and a man asked how come more Athletes aren't involved and the community and he big upped what Melo is doing right now and Jo was doing Chicago.
