can spanish brehs confirm this pronunciation

I have no clue why but yeah, spanish people call him Billy. To me it makes no sense because his name is Guillermo, and to us (I'm from south america) "Willy" is pronounced the same way as you guys say it. But spaniards do have their own ways of saying shyt, even though they do use "Willy" as a nickname. I don't have a real explanation to be honest :manny:

Not a fan of jennings. We need guard play but that dude just reeks of tweeter loser guard that plagued the knicks for so long in the mid 2000's. He seems like he will lose us more games than win.

If you say so. :mjlol:
Good talk breh
:wtf:

Biyombo is on a completely different level as a rim protector, and I don't think you realize just how bad Noah has been at finishing at the rim, he was worse than Ricky Rubio last year.

Put it like this, the gap between them at rim protection is bigger than the gap between Noah and Kevin Love :mjlol:

Biyombo is better by more than just a "whole lot", he was an elite interior defender last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.

You and me are having two completely different discussions. When did I ever bring up interior defense in this discussion? Your own "evidence" backs up my point...on a down year for Noah he outperformed Biyombo on defense everywhere except for at the rim. Add onto that the rebounding, passing, and intangibles....as well as the opportunity for KP to be mentored by a veteran NBA center....this is why I think Noah was better for THIS team

Yes, that chart has him as a superior rim protector but Noah is superior at all other aspects of defense. The chart has him as a better defender on every other spot on the floor. Noah still rates as an above average rim protector, and he's better at switching and reading the P&R, defending the post, and directing traffic, rotations, double teams and traps, coming up with steals, and making sure teammates are in the right spots, better defensive rebounder and at boxing out, better at drawing charges. Biz isn't quite the glue or anchor Noah is he's just a strong raw athlete who can protect the rim. They aren't close in IQ. Noah had a better defensive plus minus than Biz too.

Also, Bismack is undisciplined averages 4 fouls per 36 minutes for his career, 4.5 last year fouled out of playoff games. Noah has at least proven he can keep the fouls down although not the case last year.
preach
That's a big one imo. Noah recruited Lee hard and got us a discount and he'll have built in chemistry with Rose. I don't hate the move, I like it, just a preference for Biyombo. I do think we needed a vocal leader and energy guy too, I've mentioned that before. So I'm not down on the move. But I don't think the fight should be about Noah >>> Biyombo; that's a tough sell unless Noah is back to form he had before the past couple of injury riddled season when he was getting MVP top five votes. A lot of Noah's values are intangibles.

Yeah, I don't think I'm arguing that Biyombo is a worse player than Noah....I honestly can't gauge that because if Noah is never the player he was again then clearly it's a debate (we're talking about a former DPOY and potential MVP here vs a guy who has yet to prove he's a top starter). I'm arguing about who's better for this team...now and in the future. Biyombo doesn't make this team a contender, and he wouldn't guarantee us to move a step in that direction either.

Welcome Kuzminskas :salute:

I'm hearing he's a great ball movement guy plays without the ball. Above average athlete by Euro standards likes to fly in for putbacks and tips on the offensive glass, 6'9 swingman with a decent three point stroke, likes to post on both low blocks, aggressive cutter and quick decision maker loves to get to the rack, pushes tempo handling ball off rebounds like D-Will. Gives great effort on D but not a great defender. One of the most productive players in Spanish league, was coveted by Atlanta, Boston, San Antonio, and the Lakers. Balled against Team USA in the 2014 FIBA.

That smug Euro swag

I like the surprise Euro signings. The style differences add a little different flavor to our roster.

At least, we haven't seen these dudes be wack.

Better than acquiring 'known' underachievers. The gamble on these guys adds a little intrigue.

Agreed better then picking up some D-league worthy scrub.

We looking at top 4 team in the east brehs. If this team is healthy, the sky's the limit. Phil bought Hornacek the groceries, he better cook us up something delicious.
With the bench not looking so paper thin now, and the with the Heat probably losing wade, I'm comfortable with thinking playoffs. The Knicks are in the Detroit/Pacers/Bucks tier right now.
