Good looks on all the FA/Cap notes, I'm glad somebody else is interested in that stuff -- I started typing a bunch of out,a nd going into the 2-year rule on going above the cap... then decided people would get bored, but now that I see it all written out, I hope guys read it.

A couple of guys in that Lowe article are useful -- Moore, Leuer (though I think people in this thread would hate him eventually) Harkless could be not terrible, I'd love to root for Boban, but he's the opposite of Hornacek's offense.

I have a feeling Baker ends up on the roster, he could be another guy that's useful. I think he was forced to shoot waaaay to much in college, and actually displays some good court vision as well as effort on defense. Plus he's fukking LONG for a short guard-- 6:10 wingspan, with a 35 inch max vert. This dude is NOT aaron craft.

Co-Sign Baker heavy, I don't wanna overhype his game but I think he's an NBA player who could crack a rotation off of smart play and defensive effort. That length gave quality NCAA wings a ton of problems and I think it will help him a lot at the next level.

Here's a pretty nice find. Salary converter from last year's cap to this year's. Joakim at 18 counts against the cap as much as a 13 million dollar contract would have last year (ironically it's about the same cap hit percentage wise as RoLo was last year but the value of Rolo's deal was that it counts for so much less of the cap with the increases kicking in). This is a nice way to look at some of the crazy high figures and compare them to what guys were getting before the increase.
