18 mil in new cap is pretty comparable to the 13.5 he made under last year's cap. So the money makes sense, it sounds like he has several teams interested and Phil madd it clear he wants a defensive center on the team.

I just don't know what he has left in the tank. I was always more optimistic than most Bulls fans on him, and even I'm leary of giving him a long term deal

The salary is probably right considering the stupid money about to get thrown around, Starting players are gonna be looking at that minimum $15 million per.

I think the issue is when you guys have $30 million to sign a Starting Center, SG, and fill out a non-existent bench, $18 million is a lot to throw at 1 of those. So now you'd have to go budget at the 2 and bench and hope Rose and Noah don't show more health issues
