This is what I'm afraid of. Phil's gonna make his move, but the limited options this offseason make that a very slippery slope. I want conservative Phil for another year, but a lot of signs have me thinking it's all-in this offseason and then a push to use the next cap increase on another impact addition. I'd love to be wrong.

On the flip though...

If Phil is as savvy as he thinks...this only creates more smoke screen and bait for other teams to wrestle over while Phil seduces Batum, Bazemore, Crabbe, Biyombo type players to come through on a secure contract.

a tank for 2017 draft isnt so bad ..............signing an aging superstar to a max deal will not get us to the second round ...........

Clarkson, Crabbe, Fournier...those are the names I'm really praying for. I love Biyombo's game, big cats with crazy motors impact the game just off energy, but he's gonna be overpriced after this postseason imo. I'd love an offseason where we add two young guards, maybe a stop gap like Augustin and then roll into 2017 with max space.
