Breh, real inquiry here...

Are you sure it's 1 more crack?

Why not 2 more?

Do you disagree with those who want 4 cracks at it?

Should every year that's not a contender year be a tank year?

Slippery slope abound...

Nope. With Kp emerging if he's as good as we think by next year we won't be able to tank

This is the last year because of that and the fact that next years class is LOADED

I don't see any positive of wasting cap space getting better and winning 37 games next year and getting the 11th pick as opposed to getting younger bottoming out then from next year on add pieces and build around KP

Brehs... what's the financial possibilty of landing both Rose and Durant in the offseason, lol (I'm laughing while typing this)? I haven't taken the time to think about how they would work together at all, but just on face value, those two acquisitions could both put us in a great position next year... and still have flexibility the following year when Rose's contract is up... I don't know how players in the league view Rose, but if their view is favorable, it may lure Durant.

Keep in mind I still wouldn't want to give up a 1st rounder for Rose. And hell, if he plays well enough but he's not a great fit we may even be able to flip him for more assets in a sign and trade.

Rose
Durant
Melo
KP
Rolo

Bwahahaha... am I sounding like a delusional knicks fan yet?

Like it or not, I don't see this team tanking. Everyone in the organization is talking about immediate results right now. They have Melo playing the way Phil wanted, KP is a huge piece, RoLo gives the C spot stability and there's 30 million dollars in cap room before they renounce any FA's for more space. Waiving and stretching Calderon could add around 5 million more and finding a taker for KOQ would add 4 mil. I just don't see Phil going the tank route unless Melo explicitly demands a trade and he seems to be saying the opposite. I think Phil is gonna go after it this offseason and I'm just hoping that doesn't mean forced moves like the Amare deal going uninsured.

We can wish for a tank season to get a great pick in the next draft, but I just don't think that's gonna happen.

The Knicks just need draft picks. There's nothing really to go after this offseason unless Durant wants to come here which isnt happening.

You sound like a Knicks fan on a forum examining the possibilities, breh.

It's all love.

How realistic? I don't know but if the cap worked, even with the injuries, I could see a FA (even Durant) seeing that lineup after a Rose trade and dwelling on it for a minute with his agent. Absolutely.

Im hearing more rumors about the Knicks being interested in Noah

I said it several pages back...

Robin Lopez was a poor mans Noah. And now Noah is a poor mans Robin Lopez, it would be a pointless move.

And I wish we could ban the name Derrick Rose from this thread

'Scust.

I don't want that drama anywhere near NY.

Besides, NY would chew that man out horrifically.

Dude would be so strung out after fans turn on him, he'd probably inadvertently curse them out during an interview.

So Dwight, the fans ar.....

Dwight: You know fukk the fans. fukk em. No more questions.

Yeah man! How exciting would it be just to be in the playoff race!! Or somehow make the 8th seed and lose to the Cavs in 4 or 5 games!

:mjlol: No perspective at all
this is what makes knicks fans so bad

short sighted delusional with a sense of historical grandeur

a tank for 2017 draft isnt so bad ..............signing an aging superstar to a max deal will not get us to the second round ...........
its like yall didnt watch the playoffs or are a gluten for punishment
