Knick fans comparing Ewing to Melo :mjlol: Ewing guaranteed you 50-60. Wins and contention for a decade the Fukk has Melo done?
whats up with you guys only being able to read half sentences:what:
by the time the knicks traded ewing, he was not leading to no 50-60 wins:what:

he had taken a back seat to houston, sprewell etc, had injuries, and had silly fans saying the team was better without him

and in retrospect, we can all agree that he even tho he wasnt in his prime, it was a mistake to trade him and we havent recovered since

I don't think I have ever seen anyone bring up Carmelo and compare him to Ewing on the Knicks.

Ewing didn't deliver the championship, but MAN :wtf:. His impact alone would have the Knicks in the playoffs in the east.

They aren't even in the same stratosphere in terms of accomplishments for the franchise.

Even T-Mac took that shot to Carmelo...I thought that would have been the nail in the coffin for the last few delusional fans out there:

The same McGrady who couldn't get out the 1st round his entire career until he jumped on the Spurs bandwagon in 2013. The same McGrady would took a shot at Curry for winning MVP. The same McGrady same who at age 30 played 24 games of the Knicks and averaged 9.4 ppg & 3.7 rpg on 39%. Yeah is opinion is real important :stopitslime:

You trying to insult McGrady when he specifically said his prime. ::mjlol:

Melo in his prime probably could have taken the Knicks to the playoffs as well. Too bad he's not in his prime, not even close, but y'all delusionally don't want to move on because being a first round exit is better than an actual rebuild I suppose.

TMac in his prime couldn't even get out the 1st round. And after he had a 3-1 lead against Detroit one year. And Melo thinks he's in his prime :manny:

Anthony, 31, told CNBC's Kelly Evans that he's watched how long his peers have played and hopes to stay in the league for years to come.

"I think I'm in the prime of my career right now. I have years to go in this league," Anthony told Evans. "I see guys playing 20 years. That's a goal of mine - to play 20 NBA seasons."

It would seem that Anthony was referring to two of his previous Olympic teammates: Kobe Bryant retired this season after playing 20 years in the NBA and Tim Duncan just finished his 19th season.

Carmelo Anthony still undecided about Rio Olympics
