So I am seeing people here hoping to grab Lin now? I swear I can't make this shyt up with the knicks :mjlol:

As far as Hornacek is concerned...good hire if they give him time to work. Problem is that we can't start going guard crazy like the Suns did for many years there. We need a balanced team...starts with dumping Melo and try to legit build a team around Porzingis.
+100 this

we suck! no hiding it ......we been sucky for a while now ........please no quick fixes..............lets just make right moves and be patient
3 yr timetable is reasonable

So here's what the media does...

1. They say they don't know what the Knicks are doing because they won't talk to them

2. Then they make up whatever they believe is the case and claim "sources"

3. They bash their own made up decisions that the Knicks are apparently going to make according to those sources

4. When they get information contrary to their made up stories, they backtrack and blame it on team desperation and disfunction

5. When the actual true story is confirmed they bash THAT decision on the premise that it was different from the decision the originally made up and bashed.

How do I get one of these jobs?...smh

Oh and for the record, I don't think I will take Kyrie Irving for Melo. I would rather get Kevin Love if the Knicks are willing to trade with the Cavs again.

In 10 playoff games, Kyrie's averaging 24.7 ppg, and 5.7 apg on 50/50/82 compared to Kevin Love who is averaging 18.4 ppg and 10.9 rbg on 39/44/85.

This nikka would really take overrated ass k love over Kyrie in a trade. :mjlol: Let alone the fact he'll be stepping on the toes of KP. Cavs would be dumb as fukk to trade either for melo anyways
Never questioned the talent. Just feels like a player who is always on the verge of an injury.

Love got hurt, but that was because his arm was almost ripped out of his socket.

Nothing is guaranteed in this league including health
You say you want to build around KP....
Adding a stretch 4 that will be in the same areas as KP not to mention his impact is overrated is dumb as opposed to getting a dynamic point guard. This is pointless tho....cavs would laugh at this trade for either one of them

The same Lowry that is on Casper status this playoffs. Plus he's on the other side of 30, which is the main reason yall use to get rid of Melo.

Calm down you sensitive clown. I am just trolling @Malta

The best the Knicks can possibly get is a deal with Boston for Pick(s). I just don't see any GM falling for the Melo hype anymore unless they are right on the brink of a championship. You know who I actually think will be an interesting fit for Melo? San Antonio, but Lala will likely not like that move and it will require Carmelo to change his game a bit...then let him close in the 4th. I just don't think that deal can be made that would make sense for the Knicks.

I can't think of another "contender" that Melo fits in. Maybe Cleveland, but like @ikbm and I have discussed I don't think a deal can be made with them.

:mjlol: You prolly look like prodigy's nerd cousin. I got khaki-pleated goons that'll stomp you out in sperry topsiders. I got dudes that keep exactos in their pocket protectors. I'll throw you in the hudson and do your mama's taxes, to make sure she doesn't get screwed out of her proper annuities. I DGAF. I'll run up on your girl and pay for a new york times subscription - the full version, not some weekender bull, I wanna make sure she sees what's happening in the world 7 days a week. Plus the revamped arts section is bomb. You should check it out. I personally think their magazine is better than Time now with some of the recent editorial hires, but I can't call it, man. Your girl is just gonna have to be the judge.

Run up on me, breh. I'll break your collarbone, pay for your ER visit, get you to the best orthopedic surgeon in the city (he fixed Ryan McDonaugh's shoulder! My dad plays squash with his uncle!), I'll comp your physical therapy and work on your resume, to see if we can get you an internship. You know anything about new media? No matter, I'll get somebody to teach you some coding too. My cousin does all the cyber-protection for the TV networks, he goes by Shark Zuckerberg. You ever heard of him?

Do you enjoy smoothies? They just put a juice generation in my neighborhood, blood. After that rumble, you're gonna be dehydrated, and you'll need to replenish nutrients - they got this new guava, orange, and ginger mix. It's a banger. It'll have you back to health in no time. I'll even cop you the whey protein boost if you're looking like you need to put on some weight. I'm way into complex plyometrics lately, I'll link you up with my personal trainer! His name is Vladimir!

Man... if the Knicks could have gotten KP two years ago this would probably be like the perfect storm right now (assuming he develops into who we think he is)... Now Melo is too old, KP is too young and the rest of the team is too bad.

A lot of this NBA stuff really is just luck and timing. But it doesn't help when your front office sucks so bad it offsets any luck that happened to come your way. Imagine where the Knicks would be if they just didn't make the Andrea Bargnani deal. That would have probably completely changed the trajectory of this team.
