I'm hopeful that the speculation doesn't pan out, but I'll admit that the one concern I had about Phil from jump was if he would be open minded enough to go outside the triangle (as each day passes I hate that word more and more), and it's seeming like he's less and less inclined to open up and consider other options. I don't think we expected to have a mix and boom, instant playoff team, but the writing is there. Nobody has succeeded with the triangle as their base offense, especially not having two all time greats, so it's like when you hear that he's only looking at his homies who have run the triangle, it's like
I will admit that the one thing that has changed is that there aren't really any leaks, so that gives me some hope that maybe all this stuff is unfounded, and Phil actually might have the sense to expand his net in this search.
