No Rambis forcing a player to learn a system insead of their natural pick and roll and getting to the rim isn't the answer :stopitslime:

Basically. Second unit big men are not good at PNR and the spacing is poor whenever there's the two traditional big men on the floor. He should've been getting burn with Melo and (especially} Porzingis earlier in the season. Melo can actually play off the ball and shoot open spot up threes off of kickouts from Grant high PNR with KP (not part of the triangle :heh:).

I don't understand why we have such horrible luck with coaches :mjcry:

The Knicks are terrible at building teams. Forget about the head coach...we aren't ever in a position to have a situation like the Timberwolves have right now.

The front office caved into the pressure of always trying to win now in the 90s and got their second "star" player a bit too late to help Ewing win the championship. 1997 was really the last shot they had to even think about winning it all.

I love the 1999 run, but we all knew the Spurs would destroy us and they did :mjcry:

Man, Cleanthony Early is a REALLY intriguing player to me. Haven't seen a motor like that since Balkman, except Cle is a better athlete and with more skill that can be developed further. It's rare someone that athletic plays with that much effort. His decision making is super inconsistent, his whole game is really, but just the effort level and athleticism spark good things at times. I wish we could have gotten a better look this year.

Jerian in the first start, hot and cold but way more good decisions than bad ones. He really played well for a first start, love that he made a couple of three's too. The second one, the defense literally gave to him in order to stop his drives, but he made them pay.

I can't wait until we get a decent coach that will utilize our young guys a lot better.
