What's the point of asking Pusha for a verse and not using it?
Also, why not use it knowing that it will drive hype and sales for your album?
I'm sure he intended to use it but the common theory is Drake got his panties in a twist and asked for it to be removed.
Fred.
THIS IS CHATTY PATTY STUFFIf that’s true, they better put out that Ross-Drake full album, and it better be heat gotta atone for that bytchassness
THIS IS CHATTY PATTY STUFF
whatever Ross' reasons were are none of our business and any talk is speculative.
I respect Lil Wayne and his contributions to the rap game, but he is no longer "the best rapper alive." He is far gone from the Carter albums, the Dedication and No Ceilings mixtapes.... I say this as a fan. The mystique is disappearing. Any sane and objective rap fan can clearly see what's going on.... Wayne is in decline and will never respond to Pusha because he cannot and will not win. Pusha is in his creative prime and will MURK any rapper that directly or indirectly mentions him. He got the WHOLE rap game on skates! He might be the first rapper blackballed for shytting too hard on everyone!
Pusha T is the most dangerous man in rap. Anyone, including Drake and Wayne would be a fool to respond....
This ordeal gives credibility to what Gillie Da Kid was saying about Wayne.
Because he didn’t know he was gonna shyt on his homies for the entire verse. Ross wanted a verse, not the smoke. What's the point of asking Pusha for a verse and not using it?

Look, I fux with ur overall point of Wayne being a shadow of his former self and Pusha being in his prime.
But stop there...
Most dangerous man in Rap??? Nah kid!
Nas
Black Thought
Hell even Benny, Spesh and a few others could fukk with Push now in a battle of bars. Hell even Jay had a better verse than him on DDA fairly recently.
And let's not act like this don't exist
You guys aren't talking about the same thing.
In a battle who got the best bars doesn't really matter. This is more true now, than at any point in history. Look at what happened when Budden went at Drake with "bars". Nothing.
So ok Benny, Nas and BT got more "bars" than Pusha T. And I don't even agree about Benny, but never mind that.
Only one of them (Nas) pulled off what Pusha T did....which is reverse the course of a battle against an opponent that was 100x more popular than they are. And even then, that was damn near 20 years ago for Nas.
What Pusha T did to Drake is some fabled shyt from a bygone era....it does not, and is not supposed to happen these days. But he did it anyway. So yeah, that makes him more "dangerous" than anyone else out right now.

I respect your hop hop knowledge but it's always been this way.
.
LL did it Moe Dee
KRS with Shan (juice crew was big and Kris was homeless
50 did it to Ja
Nas did it to Jay
Remy did it o Nicki (think about it)
It's actually a key part of hip hop when u analyze it.
And if anything, while Pusha absolutely embarrassed Drake, the Drake machine is still rolling stronger than ever, whereas, with maybe the exception of Nicki, the other examples I gave were career enders.
