Everyone's so excited in this thread because it dawned on us what we could have in the game.

We were spoilt back in the day when we would get these type of collabs and calibre of verses on the regular. We became so accustomed to it we thought we would eat forever :mjcry:....Esco era Nas...Jay...AZ...Clipse

These new kids are not feeding us anymore.

I miss the era when rappers rapped like they had some sense...class..where they would name drop classic flicks, hood legends and obscure 70s references...designer shyt you hadn't heard of. Those little touches made the music sound more like a documentary... It brought the world of the hustla into your living room.

I'm just in my feelings because I know these type of songs will be few and far in between in the future.

:mjcry:
No standards fukked up the game

The beat was kinda weird to me at first, but definitely grew on me. This is dope. Jay and Pusha T did their thing.

What I like about jays verse is that it was 48 bars which is an interesting shift. It allows him to expand on themes and tell a longer story. 16 bars sometimes limits you to be too concise, but with 48 you can be freer.
I hope he continues along this line but I think pusha said it was a one off.

Kinda crazy that this nikka is close to to 50 years old though if you think about it.

The fact that he's still capable of killing a track like this is wild. It's no wonder all these young surp sippin nikkas act star struck when they in his presence.

You shouldn't still be that good at damn near 50.
