Love Aiyuk. Think we’ll pony up the money for him. As explosive as Deebo is, Aiyuk is really our most reliable pass catcher. Kittle is pretty much hurt at least once a year.
Naw. Hopefully they'll let that PAC 12 bum walk. Can get a replacement in the draft in the third round

Aiyuk is too inconsistent and drops crucial passes

I wouldn't bet on that, it's the NFL :mjpls:

Though I do agree he'll likely get at least 2 seasons unless the locker room is a shyt show.
Very true :russ:

But the Texans are pretty much where we were at when Jed hired Kyle in 2017. At that point, we had two straight 1 and done coaches and we were desperate. So Jed gave a 1st time head coach a 6 year deal

The Texans are in desperation mode and their best shot for the future is to give Demeco at least 2-3 years to rebuild like Jed gave Kyle

you know Brady can do that I’d love to see for us next year… stay on the field.

At this point we NEED at least two who can play. If we have to go with Trey to start the season then fine, he deserves a shot anyway but I swear to god if Shanahan doesn’t let him try to run a normal offense I’m gonna lose it. Lets just fukking see if the kid can play without running the special ed offense.
Man, the more I watch Trey's college tape the more I'm realizing this special ed offense is just the one he ran in college. Shanny is giving him the same stuff he was successful with at NDSU. In his only full season as a starter Trey ran for 1100 yards and 14 TDs with a ton of these QB draw plays, primarily because he doesn't have the side-to-side athleticism to beat a LB to the edge, but he was trucking LBs and breaking tackles and going to 40+ yards multiple times. He's not a timing or accuracy guy. Took lots of deep shots. I think Shanny was hoping that Trey could do the same in the NFL and be a Josh Allen-Justin Fields type hybrid, but the jump in talent, speed and size from FCS to NFL seems to have neutralized his skills and advantages. Whereas Cam and Fields and Jalen were all playing against future NFL stars, the guys Trey was beating the breaks off of are now driving uber. So I don't know what a normal offense means for Trey.
