my point is why? just because he is black doesn't mean he is Vick/RG3/Lamar.

He's not calling those same QB run plays for Brock is he? I don't like that shyt.
shyt, give me Josh Allen or Daniel Jones or Trevor Lawrence mobility! All those QBs have their mobility used as a weapon, and they all seem more athletic than Trey. What the hell is that about? People want Trey to be running a Mac Jones offense, is that what we paid for?? :francis:

He has no accuracy or feel for the position yet. He's barely played any football in 3 years. Y'all are in a win now mode with this team. Y'all have no time to wait for a raw project to hopefully develop.
As if Purdy isn't the same thing... And he'll be coming off an injury.. And Kyle STILL won't name him the starter

Kyle be playing this shyt like Madden. I'm not convinced for one second, that there won't be a qb competition in camp

I just hope when Trey learns to be less hesitant he is more mobile. I mean, he never ran at the combine so we dont even know his actual numbers are. But when he runs there is this hesitance and shyt. He didnt even know how to fall properly when running and being tackled.

And unfortunately Kyle hasnt shown ANYTHING about developing a QB from scratch.

I gotta cut ties with my Cac friends who are Niners fans . :mjpls:

Purdy had a good run but I was getting sick of the lovefest . He's a humble cat, he'll get it but dudes on my timeline had him better than Montana going into Philly:dead:

We lost to a team who's "MVP" candidate QB played like shyt all game. I give the Eagles props but they're not winning the SB playing like they did today.

Something needs to be done with our QB drama . Going on nearly ten years. From Smith to Kaep to Beathard to Guwop to Trey to Brock

Open competition in six months with the same play calls for everyone Shanny

Brock wins that competition if he can throw. Brocks experience puts him far ahead. This is the shytshow at the position and again a fork in the road. Do you play someone who is better to win it now or do you play someone who needs a lot more coaching and take lumps but higher ceiling. Its the same jimmy vs trey debate from a year ago :damn:

Yeah it was more vanilla. Defenses never had to worry about RPO or the QB being an 11th weapon out there with Brock. We paid for a higher octane offense than the one Brock ran, which is the same one Jimmy ran, only difference is Brock was willing to actually take the deep shots and stretch the field vertically and open the offense up. Trey was supposed to add a whole new dimension to the offense, not just a marginal increase.

My main concern is that I truly don't buy for a single second that Kyle has learned anything about how to handle Trey. I'm certain we'll continue to watch a completely different offense every time he's on the field. I hope having CMC helps him develop but we gonna keep watching Kyle using him like he's Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson :smh:
Kyle LOVES Lance and his type of Qb.. I been saying it before he was drafted.. When people thought we was going another way, I said the whole time, that this was Kyle's guy.. When he was drafted, stories came out about how happy Kyle was.. He traded his entire future for him..

When you look at this offense, everyone has dual roles. Everyone can do two things, pretty amazingly. The only position (non o line) that isn't on that type of time, is the QB position. And the second that Kyle gets to pick one, he takes the dual threat #3. Don't matter if he played for bumfukk college, or no games, or no important wins.. Can he run fast with an arm? Perfect...

That's all he wants. Another RG3.. But you're right.. He hasn't learned anything since RG3 on how to keep them on the field.

It wasn't even vanilla. He had countless QB run plays....UP THE DAMN MIDDLE. :why:

Brock isn't being asked to run the ball like that. Let Trey run the same shyt Brock runs to make a real determination on whether we go with him or not.

Trey was never supposed to be an elite athlete like Lamar or RG3 but I was expecting he could at least hit Hurts/Allen levels, who are less fast-twitch and more locomotive. They also both run with conviction. So far, Trey has run kinda scared and without confidence. It's weird. If he can't hit those Hurts/Allen runs then he has to be an elite-tier decision maker and accurate thrower like Burrow, which...I don't forsee.

its just hard for me to see under Kyle. too little time to teach Trey too much :francis: I hope Im wrong but its just unlikely right now. they have two years to understand what they have in Trey, at absolute max. The guy started like less than 20 games since high school....
