Mitchell’s playing time may depend on whether or not McCaffrey is available. Lynch spoke on that topic during his weekly radio segment with KNBR too:

Crazy thing is you have another RB that can friggin ball. You can literally kill a defense if you played them both a little more evenly than playing CMC the majority of the time.
