I agree. The run hard offense did work when Kyle had the 1,2 RB punch. He has it now with Mason and CMC.

I think he can manage to get the Niners in the playoffs but I don't see a far playoff run. The only reason why I say this is because it's not enough film on him yet.


You look at Mac Jones. Everyone thought he was great as a rookie. Teams didn't have a full take on how he plays towards the end of the season. That's when you saw his play dropped big time. This season he looks mediocre like I said he would.


I think the Niners are safe these last five games. I don't think Purdy is some super star QB at all. Wouldn't mind being proven wrong but I doubt it

But for other people (not you per say) to think that's the norm or even most likely what's going to happen.... Nah. You gotta manage some expectations. I have zero trust we'll be just fine.. Unless just fine means winning a few games and home by January

Exactly. No definitely not thinking we are fine and the Cinderella season happens with Purdy. Would be nice, but HIGHLY unlikely.

Well he beat out Nate Sudfeld and that means something because we gave Sudfeld a pretty decent contract for a 3rd stringer.

Also I am looking at the totality of the remaining schedule. We only have to win 2 of the remaining 5 and we have enough surrounding talent to do that.

The disconnect comes from this being a Super Bowl season. So when I see, we trust this guy.... Trust him to do what? Win the SB? Cause if it ain't that, we going right back to Lance next season and this season was a wash

This team is so talented I think we can make offs and at least win the Wildcard with Purdy. Anything after that is house money.
