Good evening guys let's take a look at our Fullbacks, it will be a quick one.
Fullbacks
Kyle Juszczyk - Entering his 5th season as one of the few fullbacks in the NFL. Kyle is the most well rounded Fullback in the NFL. He can do it all. He's a great lead blocker. He can get yards on the line of scrimmage and he can be a threat in the passing game. I say the same thing every year because he does the same thing every year and his contributions go beyond just raw numbers. When he's hurt it affects the productivity of the entire offense. He is a key cog in our offense and while I don't think he'll be as productive as his 2019 season, where he had 400 all purpose yards and made many key blocks, he'll remain a key part of this offense.

Josh Hokit - 24 year FB from Fresno State. He was brought in as a reserve in case Juice gets injured. He's essentially a scout teams player. He showed some ability in college as a rusher, maybe more so than Juszczyk, but barring a lengthy injury, he's not going to see the field. They will likely just stash him away again after the preseason.

Unit Analysis: Kyle is the highest paid fullback in the NFL for a reason. He is a key ingredient in the offense, as a blocker and a receiving option but there is a part of me that wonders if he becomes less essential in time with better runningbacks and a mobile QB. Even if he is the best fullback, the position is becoming less essential and Kyle may start to decline athletically now he's in his 30s. As such he is still an important player on this offense as he wears a lot of hats.
