People are doing some wild overreacting in here talking about making a coaching change. We went to the super bowl and the championship game two out of the last three years. Do you guys not remember the years leading up to that?

You can’t just pluck out a good coach, teams struggled for years trying to do that.

I get that….. but if the only knock to have on him is “he can’t win a SB” cuz he’s gotten then it close multiple times now.

What are we hoping for in someone that that hasn’t produced anything close anywhere in their careers?

That’s my only question and the thing that worries me.

Winning “those” games are difficult and if he won the a few years ago and last. No one not even you would feel the way your feeling.

Jimmy can win a SB. He's got to have all the pieces though.

I'm telling you the secondary was the missing piece. Niners now have a chance on having more turnovers. That secondary looks like it's going to cause many this year. Ward can't start again or he'll ruin it. But worthy what they got now. I can see Jimmy get more chances to get in the end zone.

The Niners are not going to re-sign Jimmy tho. The way QBs are getting paid. I can't see Jimmy getting that money here.

No debate…. I just wanna be competitive…. Winning the SB is great… it really is…. But I’m tired of seeing this franchise outside of Jimmy and A couple if Kaep seasons win 3-6 games.

Pitts, Raven, NO, GB and several other teams don’t win SBs every year or haven’t in ages but they all for the last decade had very strong seasons they can be proud of. Outside of winning it all why the fukk can we not have that consistently vs every few years doing another fukking “rebuild”

So many teams do not make far like they should. Look at the fukking Bills. They should have been got at least one by now. I'm not sold on them to get one this year.

Did it with Harbaugh. Anyways, I think we have a lot of retarded fans for the most part who have ridiculous expectations. Especially the SB or bust fans we had with Trey. Just retarded. Now with a Jimmy the expectations will be more muted. Like “I just want to compete”.

We don’t need a coaching change but IMO Kyle has too much power and frankly using your QB like a running back is retarded. The odd high percentage run is one thing but Trey isn’t a running back. Neither is Debo..let’s hope he stays healthy.

I agree with pretty much all of that. What doesn’t make sense to me is the expectations going down now. If anything they should go up. Trey is way more talented then Jimmy G but right now Jimmy is the better QB. Extreme short term we’re actually better imo but with a veteran QB coming off two deep playoff runs that should be, as one of our friends likes to say, the floor. Whereas with Trey I was cutting him some slack because he’s his first year starting.

Na man…. It wasn’t a ridiculous expectation when people try to sit with a straight face and say they didn’t have “ridiculous complaints”

Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been to a SB in now about over a decade but has been close several times. Yet no one ever said “oh man he ain’t it we need a QB change cuz he can’t get us over the hump” and after him several other top tier elite guys who never even got far and some who never made the playoffs but put up monsters stats year in and out.

And we ain’t been in situations like the past where we struggled all season winning games and can’t even get into the playoffs or been consistently lottery teams.

If our cap has been an NFCC game or SB which we lost, but we feel the piece we have is limited and the new piece we have is allegedly and significantly better. I don’t get how anyone to think it’s “ridiculous” to have hopes that the team would achieve more?
